"We went there several months ago to test the Pekinese duck in 2 services and we had left the service a little disappointed. a real say we are accustomed to a large starred Chinese restaurant that makes my sense the best pekinian betting duck. We could expect it a little too much.Brussel we decided to reiterate the experience and leave a chance to the lily to reveal all the splendour of a Peninsula. Here are my comments:the cut:- the duck was present to us in full with the visible head (it's a choice but we prefer it to be masked by a towel)- during the cut of the duck we almost saw nothing. as the tables are close enough and there were customers all around us, the people who have been able to see the cut are the customers on the tables that give on the service path. the first service: positive point- we found very interesting to have different cuts in the plate (crusting skin and pieces with skin flesh)- the duck alone was very good- the variety of vegetables proposed to put in the pan was very interesting negative:- the big black point for me was the pancakes. crêpes are simple crêpe à la française (version petit format). I know that this kind of crepes doesn't exist. Maybe the restaurant wanted to adapt to the French taste? if this is the case in my sense there is an inconsistency with the positioning of the restaurant. In short to come back to the pancakes, I would say they were really not very good. - the duck sauce was interesting but we knew better it's really bad because the sauce and pancakes are so important in the first service that if everything is not perfect, the duck taste is spoiled. I ended up eating the duck only second service:- very good surprise! The duck crunch was really great and we had a rice for accompanied that was perfect. Fortunately we did not finish on a good note ):ps: other points that made the difference during our meal:- service was a bit "brut. it was lacking a bit of finesse (this is not the case for other hotel restaurant/bar)- the decor is really sumptuousI hope to have been constructive. Maybe we'll try the restaurant again but choosing different dishes."

Everything was delicious, the duck was ESPECTACULAR! Simply divine, the gyozas, rice, and thai chicken with veggies also very good. It's a MUST if you love chinnese food!

every moment in this place is magical. The cuisine is perfect and the concept of sharing dishes from Chinese culture makes the moment even more wonderful because it allows you to taste a multitude of dishes. The room is beautiful, the service is rather discreet and the wine card is sought.Mrite a star.Bravo

We have a couple lunch this afternoon. service very well , our jonathan server knows the map perfectly and its explanations are very clear. It is a beautiful and relaxing setting. I can't say if it's noisy we were alone in the restaurant this noon. as far as the dishes are concerned they are fabulous, it is really a faultless...

come to dinner with family, we wanted to test the lili after being in the white bird. the frame is just sublime to diner and the very tamized light does not disturb the meal at all on the contrary, it gives it an atmosphere all the more pleasant. The dishes are excellent and the drinks associations are very well advised (if you don't want to drink wine, you have to test the blue tea to accompany your meal). Moreover, the concept of shared meals is also a plus, because it is not uncommon to find yourself in front of a card and not know what to choose and want to take everything! the lili the question does not arise and we share the dishes and accompaniment in the center of the table! One with...

I would expect to be cheated from a small shop in Paris but not by the restaurant at the Peninsula. I have a blog on Peking Duck around the world having eaten at over 500 from Peking to Russia to Australia to Paris to US, etc. The Lili served in two courses and which I really liked asked if I wanted the second course cooked differently than the usual meet. For that I will give them an A+. The duck came and there were 8 small pancakes, about 10 pieces of meat (also A+ as ( like with the skin) but only about 8 small pieces of skin. I asked the waitress if she did an half duck and she said yes and I thanked her (later to understand that she did not understand me). the skin was not crisp and the...

We went there for dinner for my wife’s birthday. We both had the 8-course set menu. I had booked through the restaurant’s website and noted it was my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant very much. We had reservations for...9 pm and it was quite lively. The first four courses were all delicious and perfect. Then something happened. A beef course was served immediately after the first Peking Duck. It was very heavy and served literally one minute after the Peking Duck had been cleared. We were then served noodles. The second Peking Duck serving was essentially a “mini taco.” It could hardly be described as worthy of being called a separate course and was inde...
