"I had mixed experiences at lime and thyme; two very good, a really pretty poor. I was really very disappointed by my second visit after work. I have starved and ordered the tomato soup that had forgotten the kitchen to give brot, and I had to ask again whether and the halloumi salad that flattered to fool. there were many salat and some nice little ingredients mixed like orange and olive; but I counted only three tiny pieces of halloumi, which was cold. I was told when I ordered it to be fresh from the grill. that was a shame, as my first experience in kalk and thymian was so good. the kitchen can produce beautiful grilled meats, such as the chicken souvlaki as well as fresh and live salads, such as the feta and olively packed Greek salate. everything is very good to start with netzen from about £9 to £14 and various mezze to about £6. the sukk (drilled beef sausage) is fantastic. on the menu is also pizza and pasta, but I would prefer something more ambitious!"

The staff was extremely impolite. Despite there being plenty of empty seats, they claimed they were too busy. I definitely will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant.

I can’t praise this place highly enough! I’ve been here many times and the food is always fantastic as are the very friendly staff. I’ve just had a huge FullEnglish breakfast for under £10.

visited lime thyme with a group of 6 friends back in December and they did everything to accommodate us. the service was fantastic, eating was amazing, especially the portobello mushroom was delicious, the steak was boiled to perfection. seb the waiter was a legendary, he was really entertaining. he saw after us went the extra mile even for the “Whipping Boy”

this place makes some things very good. my mother said the campagna pizza was the best pizza ever(! and my friend had the pollo e gorgonzola he loved. but my other friend said that the bark meat burger was a bit dry and that huhn souvlaki I had been nice, but I had better. I was just here in front of the breakfast, which has always hit the square, so it was nice to try your lunch menu. the personal is friendly and helpful and it is a beautiful, happy atmosphere.

One of my partners and my favourite eatery in Raynes Park, made all the more as if being a friend of the family each time we walk in. We have know Lime and Thyme for quite a few years now, that we have been more or less through the menu some five times I personally recommend the sea bream. Or go for the other house speciality of escalope of Chicken on baked aubergine A nice touch to your time here is to have the Turkish coffee with a small peace of Turkish Delight. to end things off If planing an evening meal I strongly advise to book ahead especially for weekends as this venue gets busy. Cosy and yes romantic . Very friendly and attentive staff View menu

My experiences at Lime and Thyme were a mix of highs and lows. Two of my visits were very good, but one was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, my second visit after work left me feeling let down. I ordered the tomato soup which came without any bread, and had to remind the kitchen to bring some. I also ordered the halloumi salad which was a bit of a letdown. While there were plenty of greens and some nice touches like oranges and olives, there were only three small pieces of halloumi which were cold, despite being promised that it would be fresh off the grill. It was a shame, as my first experience at Lime and Thyme was so positive. The kitchen does have the ability to produce delicious gri...

I could write about how amazing the food at this place is, and it would be 100% and worthy of 5 stars, but this review is about so much more than the food… the service! The service is what will keep me coming back time and time again. We visited on Valentine’s Day 2022 with our 18 month old daughter. The attentiveness from the staff was unbelievable and so appreciated. From the incredible waitress (I’m so sorry we didn’t get your name) to the kitchen staff. No request was too much and they truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. It’s small thing like like bringing a little straw with our daughters water, and bringing her food out first and only bringing ours out once we had...

"only at chez bruce ate, because our original choice to the jubilee dinner (thames river cruise) was cancelled at short notice after we had already booked our hotel: in wandsworth. instead of canceling the whole trip to london, I decided to try cb and see if they could fit us as they were only about 30 minutes away from our hotel. it was a Tuesday night when we were able to get in. I have bruce poole cookbook so was very excited to taste the restaurant and eating was really good. very similar to la trumpet in chiswick and I think they share. my starter of enoki mushroom salad with romaine, rump and comte was enormous. my cousin also thought her makrelenrillettes were first class. we have rejoined our head; I choose the hain that was outstanding again. my cousin complained that her pork was too much meat and not enough of something else. she was again on board with the dessert of white chocolate jerk and rusty ice cream. I had the cheeseboard that was good, but I had better. good wine list, with a little decent half bottle. However, the bottle was ordered by pomerol i was not available, but the sommelier hit an alternative, cheaper bottle that was very good. brot was very nice. service was okay, not great. there were some stretch before us to pour wein, to take plates that were both my cousin and I annoyed. but this little grip aside, I thought £200 without wein was pretty good."
