I don't know what to say for a first about a restaurant that is well rated. The foie gras starter when I tasted it was barely cooked but edible I asked the waitress if this was a choice of the cook I am still waiting for the answer. The beef cheek burger has to be stopped, I would say more of a salad with bread on the side with a little meat, I didn't even eat a third, I have to say it wasn't good. And a gourmet coffee that was nothing gourmet. Really go to the white sails there you will not be disappointed. P-S: my wife ate mussels and was sick today, coincidence or not, it's up to you to judge.

Came on a Sunday evening, following a violent storm, we were alone in this restaurant. Due to weather conditions we dined inside. Very pretty, cozy room, with a view of the terrace. Before we even entered we knew we really wanted some mussels and fries. We were very satisfied. A full pot. Delicious. A la marinière for Jean-Pierre, a la Charentaise for me (with sausage meat). Hmmmm, very good. Extra fries too. For dessert, crème brulée and strawberry tiramisu. All accompanied by a very pleasant Charente wine. We recommend this establishment. The welcome and the service are really friendly and professional. We had a great time We went back there last night. Always on top View menu
