The food was the best we had in Rome! Cozy restaurant with the best traditional food, you can sense it from the very entrance it smells like good, aged cheese and a home made food. There was also a man who played music and sang live a couple of songs which livened up the place and made this the full italian dinner experience. Can be very busy I recommend booking in advance. Top Roman cuisine. Space carbonara, excellent saltimbocca, but I must say the chicory is absolutely top. Very precise and punctual service. The place would be very nice, it's a shame that as a couple we ended up in the center of the room surrounded by 4 tables of families with children, it was difficult for us to understand each other well. However, I have to admit that the quality of the food makes you forget the inconveniences. I forgot, the tiramisu was also very good.

A nice restaurant but we expected a better meal. The melanzane alla parmigiana was a good start but then came the disappointment. The carbonara was extremely dry and pasty not to mention the extreme yellowness of it. Please do not tell me this is authentic Roman, of all the carbonara I had in Rome, this was quite different and the least appetizing. The sugo di coda was very thin and tasteless with only a hint of oxtail. On the other hand, the personnel were all very warm and welcoming and the service was quick despite the restaurant being full. Honestly I would eat here again to see if our experience was not an exception. Un'altra volta, forse.
