"I had been intending to have lunch at a restaurant just a few yards round the corner from here, but the menu there turned out to be not quite what I was contemplating, so I came in her instead. I was so glad I did! I chose from the menu del dia, which had a good range of food to chose from. So, for 12.50 euros I had a beer, some olives, a basket of bread, as a starter a generous and hearty bowl of lentil stew, as a main grilled sole with salad, and some fruit for dessert. All of it was excellent, and such good value. The service here was both friendly and efficient, I think all the customers (bar me) were local, including two groups of middle aged ladies and a few guys who I think may have been working on a nearby construction site. It's the sort of place you leave feeling good. My only regret about visiting this place is that I did not find it until the last full day of my week in Madrid, as if I could I would have gone here again."

We had a good experience thanks to the delicious food and kindness. We didn't speak Spanish, but they spoke English. We really recommend the rabo de toro estofado(oxtail stew) and gambas al ajillo. View menu

often piece of work equipment, from kitchen to room passing through the bar!. oted is great and thanks to its treatment, effort and the great quality of the food and its elaboration, we are looking forward to trying more dishes and having a good time with oted. Thank you so much for everything!

Actually we were going to another restaurant nearby, but it was closed until 8:30 PM, so we took this one instead. It was a mistake. We took the ’night menu’ (12.5 euros). It was cheap, but I am sorry to say the food also tasted cheap. Mushrooms with ham for starter, grilled word fish for main course. They did not taste fresh. We did not feel welcome either. The service was very quick and rude. The only positive thing about our meql was that it was very soon over. Don’t make the same mistake. Take your money somewhere else. Don’t trust the 5 star reviews of this restaurant.
