"I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 30 years and enjoy the ambience of the place. However it can be very noisy at times and tables are small and intimate with your neighbours. Sadly on this occasion while the service was good the food quality was poor. My steak tartare was served grey/ brown as if it had been prepared many hours before. My tuna Nicoise was served cold and possibly worst I have ever eaten. My guest ordered the cassoulet as he previously lived in France but was disappointed to receive a poor man’s version of two herb sausages with beans. Push button automated cappuccino’s rounded off the bad experience."

The staff were excellent, and the food was quite good, especially the tomato salad. However, don't expect to enjoy a long, leisurely lunch. We arrived at 1:30 and were asked to leave by 3:30 as they were closing. It's a great spot for a quick business lunch.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and welcoming. We were not having a huge three course lunch and they didn’t mind at all, even though it was peak lunchtime. They were extremely accommodating when we asked for individual bills. Great fun, buzzy atmosphere, superb food. I would definitely go back.
