"You may go there for a light and quick meal, and end up in afeast! I was amazed at the quality of a simple Club Sandwich; I've never tasted anything of the kind elsewhere: juicy well cooked and deliciously tasting beef and chicken breast meat...were lying among fresh vegetables and crispy oven cooked bread slices! A meal to keep you going! No more, no less! Everything else, including the people and the decoration, was there just to turn the time spent in the restaurant in another beautiful experience. Higly recommended...and not just for the Club Sandwich"

We always visit Ludwigs on our annual trip to Karlsruhe for the Christmas markets in December. The location is central, there is a good buzzambience in the place, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food is consistent and never disappoints, the wine list offers...a good selection, and we always leave happy customers! Highly recommend it

Went with some colleagues to this restaurant. The menu was kind of interesting. Price wise it was ok. Overall setting questionable. The food itself passable. But the service...What was that? The lady waiter impatient, unfriendly, really unpleasant. Was it because we were not locals? For...sure I will need to visit Karlsruhe again. But will never, ever visit this restaurant again. Dear lady waiter: you really made it!!

Ended up going to this place this monthas the only one with whom we could have made a reservation at such short notice. Food was ok, the atmosphere as well. The only thing is that they charged us for the meal we didn't order or...eatan, had a lot of conversation about it with the staff but they kept showing us their small ordering device as a proof. So, not bad but just make sure at the beginning of the order what they checked on that small ordering device for the waiters so you dont end up paying something you didn't order or eaten
