"We were informed in October about their old year 's menu en checked the actual composition via e mail, after which we reserved. The atmosphere was very nice in the cosy small interior part of the wine bar/restaurant with a limited number of guests (space as limiting factor, most were couples). The food was more then good, no, just great and worth a star in the GM! We had a bottle of one of their best cavas and a bottle of their own amphora matured red wine (of which we took the remaining half home, as is very usual in this restaurant). To be repeated for sure! P.S. their normal prices are quite OK, this menu was quite expensive but worth it!"

the local is small and very cozy ideal for couples or small groups. the letter is simple but very elaborate. We ate rice with cod, chipirones with artichokes and home salad. desserts are made to themselves, I took a super soft and nothing heavy tiramisu. We're looking for excuses to come back! View menu

We fell upon on this little restaurant on an impromptu cruise stop in palamos due to bad weather in France Originally stopped for a beer but the food menu looked good We were not disappointed ! The Patatas Bravas is the best we have ever eaten and the fried fish and anchovies /tomato bread is to die for. Spoke to the chef who advised all food was local And fresh ! If we can we will return !

excellent quality and services !! high prices but excellent quality. a croquette for 9€ that brings 6. if they are excellent. the wine of the pork figure is recommended. is a range between sweet and bitter. for the well-known wine loin, and the range phyrnet, this. Add to the specifics, add a pink sauce that is exquisite! I recommend you order mixed croquettes. super delicious! We serve to Mary, super friendly and honest!

Under an amazing sunny day in Costa Brava's heart, Palamós, we decided to join the Season Menu that Marta and Ricardo offered about TRUFFLE. Starting with some appetizers and 3 main courses, all drawn and seasoned by truffle made us travel to paradose of senses. Marta offered us different wines that matched perfect to the dish we were eating. Huge!!!!! As my wife says, PAIRING (maridatge) is a mix of food, drinks, company and location. View menu

It wasn’t our first time in MacaBeu so we knew where we were heading to. We tried a new truffle themed menu that was absolutely delicious. Every flavour blended so well with each other in every dish Ricardo offered us. And even better with every wine Marta suggested. Each dish definitely reflects the essence of the region. Fresh and high quality products guaranteed. If you’re in Empordà Costa Brava and your’re a foodie, don’t even hesitate to stop by!

Well, is it a wine bar that serves food or a restaurant that has an excellent offer in wines? I would go for the first option, in view of the limited choice of meals. But don't bother, the meals we took (potatoes with eggs and foie; steak tartare) were excellent! Their own wine, Raió, was a positive surprise: elevated in terracotta amphoras and thereafter bottled. Great balance of ripe fruits. Why a score of 4 and not 5? Because it's worth at least 4.5 but just not the full five...

"We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations — the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room — lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us €170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water."
