"Once again a wonderful foodie experience, 2 years after our first visit, same tasty food can 't get enough of the achar its a firm favorite , and the lovely friendly staff are so welcoming all at an affordable price. I Love the consistency, wasn 't sure it would be as good as it was previously but it was and in my opinion it was better!! It gets really busy , its compact but cosy ..Unfortunately so many would be diners get turned away, its very popular always fully booked , you MUST book in advance ..The Quality of the dishes is second to none, portions plentiful and an enjoyable asthmosphere oh and its BYO too.. Love this place no negatives from me I highly recommend this little piece of Brockley go try it.."

Amazing food and lovely staff. A real jewel of south east London. We had the Nasi Gorang and the Nasi Lamak. Both were great and authentic. A real taste of Malaysia View menu

This place is so perfectly understated with pure good food and nice service. There is no fancy kitchen here these guys serve everything from an over counter deli fridge and it's ALWAYS delicious. Really great little spot, value for money and has a great atmosphere with such friendly staff.

It is so hard to get good Malaysian or Thai food in London. Yes there is loads of food. It is western food. This was very genuine. The coconut rice was so good. Rendang was delicious. I had chicken which could have done with better care in prep as it had gristle and bone in. It’s not flash but that gives the authentic air as well. B y o

The food is absolutely superb. It is worth a trip to Crofton Park for sure and very close to the train station. Having been to Malaysia, we think this is the best place in London and the prices are very reasonable and the portions really good. It is BYOB. We would so strongly recommend this place as it is a delight. The service is excellent too. It's quite small so you may want to think about booking. View menu

I am sorry to say that this review is difficult to write because we have been loyal fans of Malaysian Deli for a long time. The staff have always been very friendly and the food has been outstanding. However, recently we have noticed a decline in the quality and standards of the dishes. The once flavorful and delicious food now lacks in taste. The generous use of core ingredients has now been replaced with cheaper options, making the dishes less satisfying. The attention to detail seems to be lacking, with unappetizing chunks of spices left in the dishes. It is unfortunate to see such a decline.

We looked for a good Malay restaurant south of the river, and saw that this place had the best rating. We called and it was fairly easy to reserve a table They have a Limited menu, but everything seemed fairly authentic The starters were really nice we ordered the dal/roti and satay, which were delicious For mains we ordered chicken percik and nasi lemak. The highlight was the sambal sauce, and the rest of the meal was OK The restaurant itself has indoor and outdoor seating, but limited in number, and was very clean overall The biggest disappointment were the prices while it was really nice, I'm afraid there's nothing to entice me to return

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."

"my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"
