from eating, the best restaurant in the city hannover, better than the island etc. only comparable to ole deele in burgwedel! super eating and great hostess, they really feel like with mama!

Wir waren mal wider bei Mamma und was sollen wir sagen. Es war wieder spitze. Man kommt sich vor wie zu Hause. Immer frische Zutaten immer eine spezielle Karte aus dem Munde von Mamma lässt man sich darauf ein erwartet einem ein super Abend.

Looking for a nice Italian Restaurant we found a little gem, service was very friendly and relaxed, no menu but that wasn't a problem as it was explained, interesting dishes and well presented. We had to return to the UK but our relatives rebooked for the following week, that must be a recommendation it itself.. Beautiful family run restaurant. View menu

War ne Erstbegehung für mich. Hatte Basis Gerichte geordert und wurde nicht enttäuscht. In der Runde gab es Iberico Schwein, sowie gegrilltes Kotelett vom Kalb. Waren ehrlich und gut. Ich hatte Seezunge klasse. Weine top. Schöner weicher Grappa aufs Haus. Klasse und gutes Ambiente. Nicht leicht zu finden im ehr schmuddeligen Linden. Komme wieder. Preise reelle.

Wo findet man ein italienisches Restaurant, in dem die Wirtin (Mamma Rafaele) keine Menue Karte hat, sondern die einzelnen Gänge in aller Ausführlichkeit in einem herrlichen deutsch-italienisch in allen Einzelheiten erklärt, dann in die Küche geht und danach traumhafte Ergebnisse der Auswahl des Gastes präsentiert? Und das mit einem Rotwein aus Friaul präsentiert! Ergebnis: Essen + Service einzigartig!!

Mamma Rafaele ,ein ganz kleiner Laden in Hannover-Linden ca. 25-30 Sitzplätze .Ganz kleine Karte , hier zählen die Tagesempfehlungen was für jeden dabei ist . Das Ältere Pärchen sehr nette Gastgeber . Die Gerichte sind absolut frisch .Wenn man in Hannover gut frisch und nicht allzu teuer Essen möchte ist hier richtig gut aufgehoben.Pizzen gibt es nicht dafür andere leckere Gerichte . Weine gibt es auch als Empfehlung von Padrone da es keine Weinkarte gibt . Wie gesagt man muss für sich abwiegen es ist eine Mittelklasse die Qualität und frische leiden absolut nicht drunter ,es sind dann halt nur noch die Feinheiten wie zb. Das Mamma Raffaele ist wirklich ein Unikat. Der Gastraum in einem unscheinbaren Eckhaus inmitten von Wohnblocks ist klein und gemütlich, nur wenige Tische finden darin Platz. Er ist eher modern denn italienisch eingerichtet. Das leitende Ehepaar des Restaurants hingegen ist italienisch durch und durch. Man wird familiär bedient und behandelt. Die fehlende deutsche Distanz ist dabei sicherlich nicht jedermanns Geschmack, aber uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die sehr überschaubare Tageskarte wird am Tisch vorgetragen. Das Essen schmeckt von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert ausgezeichnet! Dazu gibt es Empfehlungen für gute Weine. Wäre ein Abend im Mamma Raffaele nicht durchaus teuer, wären wir siche...

In the quirligen district of Linden (for the Hamburger among you: as a bush as Ottensen; multikulti, partly genitrated, partly still clone on half the stairs and all in between we do another attempt to find a good Italian after the Salerno near Toto was such a flop. The narrow Viktoriastrasse is locked towards the larger Fössestraße for cars, i.e. a tranquil local road, in which, as almost everywhere in Linden, parking is simply not possible. So here are Öffis.
