"came here for Easterweekend as tasty bites with my friend and we were actually treated. every aspekt from the little things, as our moms take on the door, to sheer passion and drive every employee member for their call. English does not have the cake to describe the food, but the place has a Michelin star from a background and deserves it full, I want to shower the praise on it, but it is left speechless and I don't want to spoil it anyway. my friend is a vegetarian and was supplied with the themes and tastes that were like on the point for them as they were for me and the wee pairing was perfect. the place is inspiring to experience, they owe it to themselves to go even though it is expensive. with which it is said that the value is there if I knew what I was then, I would not have flashed at the price"

Wow. The experience is brilliant second visit here and I want to go back again. The chefs and waiting staff are fantastic. The food is amazing I ate things I wouldn't usually order. It is a tasting menu and is done beautifully. The butter ice cream is one of the amazing dishes and I really love it. Thank you for having us.

Finally we managed to get a table and it was absolutely worth waiting. While it is expensive, we were in michelin stars before and honestly said this was there with the best. from the fully open kitchen to the employees who served the curses they put together to the delicious food. melt in their mouth sourded brot, delicious seafood and the last meat course that was a taste experience. so proud to say that we have this on our door.

A fabulous experience- beautiful, very clever dishes with incredible flavour. There was a quite a wait between dishes, and I suspect this is to let the diners experience the flavours. Great service, and fascinating to watch the food cooked basically in front of you. That also affords a view of the chef expressing displeasure with his other chefs, but maybe that’s par for the course. Expect to be there for several hours! Vegetarian options: Delicious! Parking: Spaces around the restaurant, but some of them are only two hours.

I visited for lunch today to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. It wasn’t stuffy at all; it was wonderful to see the kitchen up close and witness the brilliant teamwork. It was also a lovely touch to have the chefs, including the Chef Patron himself, bring the dishes to our table and explain the ingredients and preparation methods. It truly was a magical experience that we will definitely recommend to others. However, with their waiting list, there might be a bit of a wait to get back in!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
