"A lovely restaurant just outside the town centre. I had carbonara and it was OK: portion size was good; creamy but unfortunately a bit bland. Kids had pasta bolognaise and enjoyed it. Other half had a 'bee sting ' pizza (chicken with green chillies). Pizza was served some time after all the other mains. Nice pizza but distinct lack of chillies. Prices for pasta and pizza are reasonable. Service was fine the staff nice and friendly. Although the decor is mainly warm creams, browns and beige it is (like the carbonara), bland. A splash of colour wouldn 't go amiss. The male/female toilets is a major dislike of mine. There are 3 toilets: a disabled toilet and then 2 other male/female toilets. One toilet each would be better. Parking is limited so if you don 't get one of the few off street spaces then you 'll have to park wherever you can. But all in all it is a good place to eat. I try to go a couple of times a year whenever we 're in the area. Got a loyalty card so after 4 more visits I 'll get a 25% discount."

The restaurant is stunning and the staff is very friendly. The interior is lovely and the food is fantastic! I tried the speck and cheese burger with garlic and it was absolutely delicious.

we have a fabulous food. good portion sizes, the children's pizza was so big that we brought half of it home. the personal was really friendly. only on the bottom we went back to a day to lunch, and it was closed, although opening times said it was open: we were really disappointed.

beautiful relaxed, welcoming dining experience would highly recommend excellent eating and service. the owner and chef cook andy is proud of his menu that offers something different than the usual fare. the best place to go in the region portstewart for steak and fish dishes. also an excellent family on Sunday lunch.

The restaurant offers delicious, well-presented dishes at fairly high prices, but the ambiance is more like a pub. The steak, sea bass, and pasta main courses were exceptional. We enjoyed the food, although the service was satisfactory and the music was too loud. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but we felt it was overpriced for a bar-like setting. View menu

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch last week. I ordered the braised Ox cheek and it was delicious and incredibly tender. The menu also had a great selection of pasta for the kids and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was even better than that of many other well-known restaurants on the North Coast and reservations can be made. I am eagerly anticipating our next visit.

This place is simply astounding, been here for takeaway pizza and more recently for a sit in evening meal. Service was excellent, the food was devine, clean plates all round, and the portion sizes were amazing. Great fare at a good price. The even have colouring pages and pencils for any kids. Toilets were good. Be careful though of the opening hours listed on Google as they’re wrong, we went to go back today for lunch before heading home but they were actually closed. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

"We chose this as a convenient mid point venue for a birthday celebration at the Lodge Hotel Coleraine. We were greeted by unsmiling staff and shown to our table. We made our choices. The starters arrived promptly and were OK. When the main course arrived, the waitress unfortunately overbalanced her tray and the salad with blue cheese sauce slid off into my friend's bag and all over the floor! These things happen but not once did she apologise. My other friend had chosen the nut roast. This had been over microwaved to the point of cremation. She drew it to the attention of the waitress who just looked blankly at her! She finally twigged she should ask if she'd like a replacement. Again no apology. The other two mains, fish, were uninspiringly mediocre to say the least. When we'd finished these, a waitress came up with the dessert menu and said we could choose one on the house. I chose Christmas pudding which turned out to be sponge with 6 sultanas!! My two friends wanted liquer coffees and it took 20 mins before we could attract anyone's attention. We were then told the coffee machine would be closing in 10 minutes! We got the coffee and I asked for the bill and a chat with the duty manager. The chap came and chatted to me whilst I explained our unfortunate experience. He was very apologetic. I asked him to review the bill before presenting it to us. He came back with a cheesecake with a candle in and took £5 off the bill! Never again! More training def required."

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
