"We came here as it was right next to our hotel we couldn’t face venturing further afield after a hour journey. We figured you can’t go wrong with Indian food when you’re vegan. It was also packed which is always a good sign....We ordered the vegetable jalfrezi chana masala, a pilau rice, a poppadom each a naan each. We checked the menu ingredients beforehand also explained we were vegan to be extra safe. First of all out came a huge stack of poppadoms, instead of the we actually ordered, which made me pretty annoyed, but I let it go because hey poppadoms aren’t so expensive. Next a huge platter of rice, I made the assumption this was the pilau rice even though it looked more like plain rice. Next came the curries another rice yes this time the pilau rice, and the naans. Honestly the amount of food was completely overwhelming, it was far too much. We couldn’t see anything on the menu to say the curry came with rice this is why we ordered the pilau rice and our server certainly didn’t explain this. The jalfrezi was mainly sauce, which was delicious, but had virtually no vegetables in it the odd piece of surprise paneer which we couldn’t eat of course. The chana masala was very good as to be expected, as were the naans. The pilau rice to add insult to injury was overcooked, very oily not at all fragrant. So we ended up wasting an awful lot of food which could have been avoided if it was made clear everything came with rice as standard. It would seem quantity over quality is the emphasis here. It was also very expensive, I realize Munich is an expensive city but this was over Euros for the food above with beers. We could see from the menu it was expensive but were happy to pay as we thought it would be a good meal, instead it was a mediocre meal, with a lot of wasted food. Such a shame"

Food price-performance good, the service is helpful and fast, the atmosphere is okay for the location, a candle and roasts that you don't get anywhere anymore.

Great food , had lots of Indians all over the world , this place is the second in Germany that’s has had the proper Indian taste , my first was in Berlin. Normally when I order in Germany, the food is so so! Tonight when...I walked in, friendly staff , seated straight away, ordered vindalooo, rice, tarka dall, japati. came in good time , spicy, just as you would expect , loved food and atmosphere, outside very deceiving, great place. Just what you would want from a Indian

The restaurant was recommended by friends. I like to enjoy Indians and know a variety of excellent Indian restaurants in Munich. The worst, however, was the food and the circumstances in Manzil. The order could only be given after repeated request and was received quite unwillingly. The remains of the last 5 visitors at our table were clearly recognizable on the table cloth, the dip sauces of the predecessors were open, an absolute no-go! The food was partly cold (rice), the otherwise fragrant plush pilot rice smells more like urine than something edible. The Nan (Brot) was hard and the Bratfett was obviously not changed for weeks.

The coincidence led me into this corner of Munich and the discreet but unbearable sounding smell of Indian dishes led me to the square. (What a sensational fairy for a review.. The ambience is perhaps not the hammer now, but it has been integrated too easily into a souterrain. But it's okay for a normal dinner. And finally, the most important thing is the food and that fits. The guest has the choice between a variety of Indian dishes that are quite properly prepared. Very good: there are various Indian bread varieties, also whole grains. The portion size is very good, you get well fed and also inexpensive it is in a normal midfield.

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel with the S-2 from Munich towards Erding, you will find the glimpse of this Greek restaurant at Feldkirchen's tributary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I entered. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (remembered to a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – well and he rest really was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for a different location for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Other: The toilets are clean but not clean. Rich parking available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
