"As a tourist from Los Angeles, I would highly recommend this restaurant; in fact, it is a must-go.When my family and I arrived at the restaurant, we received a warm welcoming and were seated in a nice, comfy spot near the center of the restaurant. Before ordering, the waiters served us an "ouzo" shot, which later I found out to be a very traditional Greek drink. It's minty flavor mixed with its potent alcohol really gives you a strong kick and fires up your spirit. I absolutely loved it!First, I ordered the fish soup. Inside the soup were fresh cut carrots and potatoes and extremely tender salmon. Such an excellent choice! My family and I got the lamb chop, seafood plate, and a meat plate. Unlike many other restaurants, the meat was juicy and tender. The portion was very filling and satisfying. The seafood was very flavorful. Overall, a magnificent main course! Finally, the flaming cognac was absolutely breath-taking. The showcasing of the wine was indeed very entertaining. The concentration of its alcohol combined with its fruitiness really made the whole dinner come to a nice ending.Something more memorable than the already magnificent course was the over-the-top service of the whole restaurant. They were so attentive to everything! It was extremely reminiscent to a Thanksgiving dinner where everyone present was there to enjoy the company of each other.I assure you that you will never....ever find a restaurant that was remotely close to the degree of excellence and prestige as this one."

We went for lunch- meals were delicious, fresh, great service. Patio seating was perfect for enjoying the summer weather. Our server even brought us complimentary after dinner drinks and dessert- to welcome us to Germany.

The best place to eat, drink and enjoy in good atmosphere with the friend or family and explore greek food and cultutlre. The personal is very frendly. I love thismodern but traditional place! Ouzo for welcome and fresh greek salat and bread for startup.Tips to try: No 72 from the Menu and Baklava for Dessert.

We was five of us, participating on the transport logistic fair. Restaurants in the city centre was overbooked and Thalassa was my last choice. When we start with the food, everibody congratulate me for the excellent choice. Very good food, funny personal and moderate price. Thalassa was our last option, but we will back next time in Munich.

The food was really great and the prices perfectly reasonable. The staff was great as well. You get an ouzo shot when you arrive, which I found a tad surprising, but it's definitely a nice touch. We had an assortment of grilled meat for two people, which was really tasty. To wrap things up, we had a glass of their amazing Metaxa Reserve. I would definitely come here again. View menu

We took a part in Munich Messe. Using Trip Advisor we found place. Location - I do not know - we just used navi. Getting into restaurant we found 4 x ouzo on the table. The food after it was only perfect and better. Unbelievably good. By talking to waiter we found that he has girlfriend in Poland and he can speak "our" language. This was great. By getting there I recommend grilled seafood plate. And for sure take a desert. We got a mix of different things and it was just great. When I get to Munich again for sure I will take a please visiting Thalassa again

We had a great evening st Thalassa. The owner personally welcomed us with two glasses of ouzo before we struggled to finally choose several of the many great options on the menu. The mixed spit of grilled meats was excellent as was the pitta grilled with garlic. The moussaka tasted as great as it looked. After dessert, the owner came by again with a glass of warm metaxa. While not a cognac fan, this was surprisingly smooth and a nice ending to the night. Only fault keeping this from a 5 star review is a few hiccups from not writing down all of our order. But the food when finally served as ordered was fantastic and the service and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
