"First visit to this cafe and the menu is on wall behind the counter. These days when wearing a mask my glasses steam up so I was finding it extremely difficult to read the menu and the staff member on till was no help whatsoever. Perhaps having a wipe down menu that could be handed to someone would help or have a menu on the window as it really is difficult to read menus when wearing glasses and masks!! When I was given the sandwiches and tea etc I was waiting for the milk and another member of staff asked if I was ok? I said I was waiting for milk and they just said “is there none left?!! Turns out the milk jugs are to the right of where I was standing yet when given the food and drinks the girl who had served me hadn’t told me that. I just felt it was all very impersonal and no friendliness at all. For some people the staff in shops and cafes are all they have to speak to and this was just not good at all. The girl on the till had dark hair and huge eye-lashes and was not in the least bit interested in customer interaction."

This is a great place to get a bite of breakfast. The food is really lovely and there is usually a nice buzz and staff are lovely.

The mat at the entrance is dirty and needs cleaning. The window upfront has a gap and is covered in mold. It could use some bleach. On a positive note, the coffee here is good.

In busy prime location. Good variety of seating. Good lunch menu. Had toasted sandwiches which lacked filling. Plate was nicely garnished. Grossly overpriced for quality. Good coffee stop but not lunch. View menu

My sister and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time for lunch, even though it is in our town and we had never been before. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic. We will definitely return. View menu

Three of us had a coffee each and a tray bake one of us had a a wrap . Bill was approx £18. Really ? Granted, the tray bakes are big and portions of other offerings appeared generous, but I wonder what market they are pitching at ? That said, the quality of everything served was very good indeed. Perhaps more savouries alongside the tray bakes would be a good idea.

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. There were trays of cups and plates left on several tables throughout our visit of approximately 15 minutes. Despite being in line ahead of a younger couple, the server asked the couple if they were next, to which they politely deferred to us. The server then bluntly asked us, "What do you want?" instead of a more courteous greeting. We ordered two coffees and were asked if that was all, to which we added two buns. The overall feeling was that we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. The coffee was good, but the service was lacking. We will not be returning and regret not reading other reviews beforehand.

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
