"We ate at Massies three times while we were staying in Lo Pagan. The food here is beyond doubt the best you will find. We had their famous cod and chips on Fishy Friday….it was better than anything I’ve had in the UK. I don’t think Rick Stein could do better! We called in again on Sunday as we were passing by. Simon had the smoker going and produced the best bratwurst and burgers we have had. We are avid foodies and really enjoy proper BBQ and Simon knows his stuff. I grew up in Kentucky and he has got the flavours bang on to what I know as BBQ. We called in again for lunch on our last full day in the area. I had teriyaki salmon on a bed of tangy carrot and rocket salad with wedge potatoes. My husband once again had a burger with seasoned fries. We decided to try both puddings and glad we did as both were delicious: chocolate mousse and New York style cheesecake. There are plenty of nice beers and wines to choose from. There is nothing but beautiful seaside outside the windows. You won’t be disappointed, but you MUST book because when the food is gone, it’s gone! Like their slogan says, we went in as customers but left feeling like friends. Simon and Dáce are lovely people and we look forward to joining them again as soon as we are back in Lo Pagan this summer."
