"WOW…. What a little gem. We were out looking for some where to eat when we came across Herbs Spice in Atherstone. Nice, simple and very clean little restaurant where the chef comes and checks you are happy with his food and can give you a rundown of all the fresh ingredients he used to create the dish. My friend had the best ever the roshni lamb And My wife , of 25 years, who is a vegetarian , well I don’t think I have heard her so complimentary about a meal than I did tonight.She loved her Vegan Masla with lemon rice. We are all full to the brim and very satisfied. Thank you guys , that food was beautiful crafted and very well enjoyed"

"Lovely place , well decorated, very nice staff always pleasant, I had a birthday voucher from my daughters , one daughter had been before and recommended, it did not disappoint, food was lovely, we had a free starter we to try which was the cauliflower chilli ball and tasted immense, and a free brownie with ice cream which was a lovely touch, our mains were delicious, such a nice taste, all in all a lovely evening, thankyou to all the staff . "We didn't know the area but wanted something to eat. We googled Pubs near Atherstone and the Black Horse came up. When, we drove up I nearly drove on, as from the outside it didn't look too good. Boy am I glad we didn't. We were greeted in the car park by the Landlord and Landlady who were very friendly and informative, making us feel at home straight away. This place was amazing, a small restaurant laid up like a 5 star one would be. Then a cosy les formal Garden Room. The menu had a really good choice for a town centre pub. We both chose the Frank Parker's Sirloin steak, which we requested Blue. When the meals came they were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection and excellent quality. As were the accompanying vegetables For dessert my husband had Eton Mess and I had the Chefs Special of Salted Caramel Cheesecake, both of which were to die for. We are looking forward to eating here again and feel that it is well worth the nearly 80 miles round trip."

"An absolutely disgraceful place. After advertising that they are open until 8PM and taking my money for food at 7.35PM they told me that they close at 7PM except for take out. As I explained had this been advertised correctly I would have come in earlier but as I do not live in Atherstone I could not take the food out so had to cancel the order. This was wholly unnecessary as they had seating available and an open door til 8PM so why not allow me to eat the food for which I had paid ?"
