"I went to the restaurant for dinner today and unfortunately, it will be my last time. I have visited this place many times before and always enjoyed the amazing Sunday dinner. I have recommended the food to everyone I know, but today was a disappointment. The Sunday dinner was subpar, with hard vegetables and thin, watery gravy. The beef was tough and not up to the standard of previous visits. I informed a staff member that I would not be returning as I was extremely disappointed with the decline in quality from what used to be a 10 out of 10 meal to now a 2 out of 10 at best. I was told that the chef had been changed and the menu had been updated, which was news to me as I was not informed before ordering. I stand by my review and the information I was given by staff members about the changes. Instead of addressing my concerns, the restaurant chose to belittle me and call me names online. I hope this review will shed light on how the restaurant handles customer complaints with immature tactics."

"We had our first meal/takeaway from here tonight as we thought we would give it a try. Our bench mark order is prawn puree and an other starter to share, chicken pathia, peshwari naan, chicken Rogan Josh and pilau rice when we try somewhere new. We were not disappointed at all, the chicken was tender and plenty of it, the puree was just how we like it and the chicken chat puree was lovely. Rogan Josh was flavourful and the weird one I like, the pathia was spot on. The guys were lovely and thorough, checking everything was right before we took our order away. Well done guys lovely food, definitely be having a try of the other things on the menu."

"My wife and I visited this restaurant, now called Zaazu, based on a friend's recommendation. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, Zaazu is not your average Indian restaurant. The food is exceptional in both taste and presentation. The dining room is beautifully decorated and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere even on a slower Thursday evening. The service was excellent. While the menu is more limited compared to other Indian restaurants, it didn't feel lacking in any way. The dishes offered are unique and the waiters are more than happy to explain any unfamiliar terms. We started with the Zaazu Tasting Platter, which included vegetable samosas, beef tacos, tiger prawns, and chicken tikka bites, as well as some lamb chops. For our mains, we ordered Butter chicken, Beef Brisket Masala, and a Rajastani lamb curry, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend Zaazu and believe it ranks among the best Asian restaurants in the country."

"This is now called the Atherstone cafe, unbeknown to us, which we only found out upon turning up at what we thought would be the larder, when you google the larder whilst it’s says new ownership and says it is open it doesn’t advise of name change, also the telephone number is now invalid. We now know why!!!We chose the larder as the reviews said the gluten free breakfast was excellent. We were meeting our daughter halfway between Leicester and Solihull and drove 35 mins to get there. The tables are small and crammed together.A lovely young girl served us but it was a bit off putting seeing the splodges of food all over her white top. She then informed us no they no longer do gluten free breakfasts and the chef wasn’t really happy to do me anything due to the allergy. I then asked could they not do me some scrambled eggs in the microwave I had bought my own bread just in case, as you would not believe how many places offer gluten free yet don’t even keep one loaf in the freezer!.So after tooing and frowing it was agreed yes they would do me some eggs.My husband and daughter and her husband all ordered a big breakfast. It was slop!!! Hard bacon cheap sausage tinned tomatoes{could they not have offered me those as well} white bread barely toasted. I’m am not at all surprised they want to get people there thinking it’s the larder.. my advice forget it don’t go... I’m not sure they really want to keep their customers!!!!"

"We were staying in Atherstone, but our accommodation did not serve food. Wondering along the High Street, The Black Horse was recommended to us for an evening meal. We entered, and were then shown to the restaurant area of the pub, which was tidy, neat and well presented. The Food, however, was AMAZING..... All of their meat is sourced from a local butcher. I had a Chicken Kebab and my wife had one of the best steaks she has ever had. We had no room for dessert, but an adjoining table seemed very impressed. Also very good value..... As we left, we noticed that they also did breakfasts. That meant that the next morning, we were queuing up to get our fill of bacon, sausage, eggs etc. Again all locally sourced and served in the breakfast area of the pub. We would highly recommend this place as a place to eat."
