"We used to frequent Mezzodi quite often in the past. First because we live around the corner, second because it is a nice place with atmosphere, nice selection of wine, decent food and capable service. Last year some of the staff left to open up a new joint next street and Mezzodi went down. The place is still nice, food decent, wine selection nice. Service wasn't to great in the past but most of the time ok. But after the change in personell service went down to lucky punch. If you are lucky and they have some kind of lets-do-good-service mood, it is a great place to spend a relaxed time. Unfortunately these moments are rare. Staff focuses in general on checking the music and putting it on high volume, or chitchatting with each other about whatever, or getting news from some regulars about the newest gossip of the neighborhood. Guests are third or fourth priority. In case you get the attention of one of them you might be lucky to get someone who is friendly, knows details about the wine list and gives good recommendations. You get attention of the wrong person, you can give yourself advice. Risk is high to get the wrong person who gives you the impression that your wish to consume some more wine or food is a real challenge for them and they only satisfy your wish because of their generosity. Honestly, I do not want to go to a place in the knowledge that the service might be capable or not. Attentive or not. Message to the owners: improve the quality of your service dramatically. What keeps your income steady right now is the location and the patience of the people who live in the area. But competition is high in Haidhausen, things can change rapidly."

Bei Mezzodi gibt es guten Wein und gutes Essen. Man sitzt gemütlich in netter Atmosphäre.

Was bewerte ich jetzt?

Popped in here for drinks, it's warm and cosy inside - walls are filled with different bottles of wine. Good selection of white and red wines by the glass and one rose by the glass. The rose was really nice as was the Tempranillo. We didn't eat here but all the food looked appetizing - our waitress was lovely. Great spot for some really nice wines. Wines are sold by the 100ml, 200ml or by the bottle.

we both got very ill hours after eating here. it was last summer, and i wrote the review then, but when tripadvisor asked if i really wanted to post it (with the title 'food poisoning'). i decided to try to put it in the past. but it was a special evening that was ruined and i haven't been able to forget it, so i don't think they should get a complete pass on it. we both ate the same thing (fondue), so it's hard to imagine it could have been anything else. so this is just strongly to advise caution. I was looking for a place to try new wines and mezzodi turned out to be the perfect place for me. Great staff service in English, Italian or German. They gave personal attention and were extremely friendly. Their lively character and energy feeds the ambiance and it was evident that everyone was enjoying both their food and having interesting conversations. Being a solo tourist, a group of locals were very interested in my culture and they were a joy to hold conversation with. From this wonderful experience, I am highly considering going back a 2nd night in a row knowing I will have a good time.

My wife and I joined 4 friends at this boutique wine bar for dinner and although I was a little nervous about the limited menu/food selection, we found the experience delightful. The reception and service in English and German was very warm and friendly, with time being taken to talk us through the menu and specials as well as giving us some sound wine recommendations. The food was served punctually and was tasty and well prepared with constant attention to see that all was according to our requirements. The desserts were delicious and after we had paid we were given complimentary grappa (or choice of limoncello) to cap off the night. €180 for 6 people (€30/head for the mathematically challe...

"This restaurant has a very informative homepage! The pictures and descriptions of the food very appealing. Vietnamese and Thai dishes and sushi are offered here. At noon very cheap offers, but also the prices for evening are still ok. When I read that a lot of value is placed on fresh ingredients and preparation, that sounds promising in any case. The images from the local area also made me positive. I chose the place to eat there with a group of 8 people. But I'd rather go to the number safe and wanted to make a small pre-test today. When I stood in front of the place, I remembered that I've been here a few times when it was the Mistura Tropicana. I had this from the ambience and the temperatures but not so good memories. It has changed visually but very positively. Much dark wood and also dark tables, chairs and benches. The walls in a beautiful cream yellow. In front of the windows the green curtains are a beautiful color pick. As usual in more and more restaurant 's, the bar is illuminated indirectly with LED, here in a green. My accompaniment didn't find it too good, but I did. Only disturbing for me was a bright, bright metal tree in the entrance area. I don't think it's the rest of the place. LEIDER was very cool. The oven was probably turned on quite late. It became a bit warmer during the evening. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend a cardigan here. The tables are very nicely covered and there are small floral decorations and tea lights. But they only burn at the tables that are occupied and that was only our table at 6:00. At about 10 a.m. there was another couple, otherwise the place remained empty. The service was super friendly and super attentive and yet with restraint. At dinner I did not discover my beloved Bo La Lot on the map, a pity! So my choice fell on baked Wantan (3,90€) that are made themselves. They were already at the table. That really went very hard. But they were really made themselves. The filling is quite captive/compact (I lack the appropriate word to describe it better, but well tasted. They were very crispy. Sweet Chili Sauce also tasted good. We didn't have to wait long for the main courts. Once roasted rice ribbon noodles with chicken (10,50€ and once red curry with tofu and vegetables (9,50€ . Great that they are placed in bowls on a small tree, so the dishes are warm longer. The dishes were served in beautiful bowls. Only the parsley as decoration is already very retro; taste also very good. Vegetables had a slight bite. Beverage prices: 0.4l water for 2.50€, soft drinks/choices 0.4l for 3,50€ and wine 0.2l for 4,00€. And unfortunately again here the beer is cheaper than a soft drink: 0.5l for 3.50€. Our desire for separate invoices was met without any problems and we were offered an espresso or schnapps etc. Here we liked to pamper with a plum wine. There are still a few small comments: Sushi is not available for the next 14 days (Sushimeister has vacation we only experienced on request, I would have liked to know as an info if the menu is handed over toilets are in the basement, so not disabled. However clean, although very 70s The customer parking places are not freed from snow (request: obviously the evaluation was read, because at the 2nd. Visit was the snow cleared A few words to the 2nd visit with 8 people: The place was not overly crowded again, but there was a birthday party in the basement that had only made karaoke and from 20/20.30 we went up to the restaurant for dinner, but we had just been in the break. Service very nice and friendly. Beverages and food were often served only from one side and we guests should then pass on, we all found a little disturbing. Better 4 guests from one side and the other 4 then from the other side. There was Krupuk. Afterwards we still have mango with a mixture of salt, garlic, chili and shrimp powder get VERY sharp, interesting and tasty. In addition, candied ginger (also delicious . All ordered dishes have been good and very good! Only the fact that Pangasius was panned in the Rotcurry was not so beneficial. Because he was covered with redcurry, the panade was very soft and gly. Either I got to serve it separately from each other or better: use Pangasius nature. In the menu there was no indication of panade. Portions all very big! Service and food have definitely convinced me and I also like the ambience. (Okay, except on the flashing LED tree."
