"all too tight, service absolute chaos(my son had pommes and got no cutlery,no teller but only the basket on the table without a coaster). portemonnaie looked through the fat, no serviettes, wanted to reorder something first and the woman (high-natured) wanted to come back again but did not come. we felt like 2nd class when other tables had no problems. from therefore absolutely not recommended although the chef was nice and the eating was great. exchanges the woman and then it runs better"

we had booked the silvester menu with 3 persons. eating was really overwhelming and you also noticed that someone really thought. the quality of the individual feeds was actually not to be exceeded! the service was also very good View menu

funny. sushi can not only be, you can call it better rice with fish and sauce, but not sushi! service was super unfriendly and high quality from customer service has not understood much. it wasn't liked the table and it took too long to eat. for me never again and of course I would not recommend that.

very sympathetic and accommodating waiter. the teriyaki roll was great, the steak and the wein too. we found the flexibility good. the card is designed so that you can freely choose the main dish, etc. we had decided to enjoy and caramelized champignons. sushi and tatar we had ordered as starter. super tasty and a pleasant atmosphere. we're coming back.

we waited for lunch for one and a half hours. the service forces were not very accommodating. the ladder has given us a round to the house at the end. from the others, no word of apology came. at the end, the bill was just laid down for us. wink with the cheerful that we have to go now. the queue was quite long outside. ambiente and location is totally beautiful. When I entered, I saw something first. the environment is a little necessary for reconciliation. but it's good. service is very friendly. we chose a sushi plate that turned out to be a very good choice. I don't like it when too much rice and little fish is used in sushi. that wasn't the case. everything very tasty and sufficient. it was a very nice evening. we will be coming back

eating was super tasty, but the organization of the silvester menu was a catastrophe. at arrival in restaurant the table was not yet covered and there was also no place in restaurant to wait. on the first floor we had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours and that dessert would not have come before midnight, as planned by the restaurant. also drinks were prepared too slowly (30min waiting time for cocktails). for a price of 149€ p.P. we would have expected more...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
