"Two years ago, during one of our holidays in Cornwall, we stumbled upon this pub by pure accident and it turned out to be the best decision we ever made! My husband, our family, and even our dog all love visiting traditional pubs during our vacations and weekends, and I can confidently say that this pub is now at the top of our list as one of the best pubs we have ever visited in England. The place has a unique atmosphere with its very old building and quirky floors and rooms. The food is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly, and they made us feel so welcome. I can't recommend it enough! If you haven't been there yet, you must go check it out."

A 5* of is, but the app allows this only for 100% Veg operation. Beautiful local pub with extremely friendly staff. The menu has something for everyone and is cheap. There is a large parking lot, bus stops nearby and many hiking trails. No reason to visit

The restaurant offers a great price range of £30-£40 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the vegan options and Sunday roasts. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot for customers to use.

This pub has a separate vegan menu with appetizers, nets and desserts. The Falafel is clearly homemade. The food js lovingly arranged, with the chocolate Praline I was offered two types of vegan ice cream or custard, so there are many possibilities. The staff is super friendly. The beer garden is beautiful. Will go back there! Updated by previous rating on 2022-08-09

This small pub has a quirky atmosphere and is very welcoming to dogs. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. The food was delicious and the dessert was divine. I ordered the chef trio and it was definitely worth it. If you ask nicely, they will even give your furry friends some meat scraps from the chef. Overall, a very good pub and we will definitely be returning.

We visited here for a vegan Sunday dinner amazing restaurant with very friendly service, a beautiful atmosphere and an excellent nut roast with lots of vegetables and extra gravy, without asking. There was a whole vegan menu with a selection of 5 vegan deserts, so we were spoiled for choice. What a change from a few years ago!! We will definitely go back when we are next in Cornwall. On the daily menu there was even a vegan plower with cheese. Prices are also reasonable. Very recommended.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a meal. It has a genuine pub atmosphere with a great vibe. I ordered the fish pie and although it wasn't huge, it was bursting with delicious flavors. The roast and pie that my companions ordered were also enjoyed thoroughly. The Malteser cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and worked diligently. The price per person is reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4 as well. I highly recommend trying the Sunday roasts.
