"This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a meal. It has a genuine pub atmosphere with a great vibe. I ordered the fish pie and although it wasn't huge, it was bursting with delicious flavors. The roast and pie that my companions ordered were also enjoyed thoroughly. The Malteser cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and worked diligently. The price per person is reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4 as well. I highly recommend trying the Sunday roasts."

Visited this pub for the first time. Lovely cosy pub with a good range of ales on rage. Nice to have a fireplace and decent parking behind the pub. Welcoming and warm service. we were happy enough to get a table in the beer garden for lunch on bank holiday Monday (six adult two children) and I can eat or not owe the staff a bit. the food we all had was delicious from a crab sandwich to a Moroccan chicken salad to a customized cheese and draught jacket for my three year old: the staff was clearly very busy, but they were always incredibly friendly and professional. I'll be back soon. highly recommended!
