"In summary: cold food and poor service. As we arrived the waiter was on the phone and only paused his conversation long enough to take our orders. If that wasn't enough, the real sign should have been that there was no sounds from the kitchen, just the microwave.I pride myself on good manners and my kids display the same. Each time a dish was delivered we thanked the waiter. Not once did he acknowledge it and continued to talk on his phone. All of the dishes came out cold, however the Butter Chicken was worst of all. Unfortunately by the time the first bite was taken, the dish had almost completely been served up. So I politely took what was remaining of the dish back and advised the waiter that it was cold. He took it without apology and returned to the table two minutes later having heated up what remained on the dish and delivered it back to the table again without apology.I genuinely hope that this was a bad day for the restaurant, however reheated food and poor service are core failings, so I think not.Justin"

What a nice surprise. We loved the Pakistani cuisine. Chicken korma, several naans, basmati rice biriyani. Very busy on Saturday evening. Pleasant, accommodating service staff.

It was ok. I found it a bit expensive especially since we had to pay 4 euros for the rice which one would think would come with the dish... so the 12 euro lamb dish then became 16 euros... The portions were also quite small. View menu

Being a great accustomed to Indian cuisine, I find this restaurant good, but not at all like local cuisine, so much dishes are not enough raised, , because too much cream in curry. The staff is very kind, and kindly offered us a digestive.

very pleasant reception, service pretty fast considering the good quality of the dishes. the tikka massala was really very good, spicy and lifted just what it takes. The front (which could be refreshed) promises a fast service ahead of time, and indeed, the service is timeless, if it is time to launch the commands.

We liked the food so much we went back for a second meal during our short stay in Paris. To start we had shami kebab which had a great balance of flavour and spice. For the main meal, we had the chicken salwal which was cooked with coriander and spinach, delicious. We had the house white wine in a 50cl carafe, which was really pleasant and good value. The service was very efficient and friendly, we'd go back again if we are in the area. View menu

tested 2 or 3 times, it does not break bricks, and especially: service too long for 5 or 6 guests at noon. Especially at noon, we don't have time to lose! That day, I was invited, we had to leave the table before the desserts because we had appointments ... the welcome was kind, no more. the room makes pity, decor out of time, and gives an impression to retain the dust and the skull. As for dishes, nothing exceptional, nor really tasty! we do better in the 18th arrondissement!!!

About 500m walking distance from the Hilton Opera in Paris is a nice North Indian Pakistani restaurant. They have all the usual beef, lamb and chicken dishes. Veggie menu is rather limited but apparently that is because there are not many Indians nor veggies around in that part of Paris. Nevertheless I had a very good meal. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff in typical subcontinent style. With their flexibility they got me a range of veggie dishes in no time. Be sure to ask for spicy as they cater mostly for native Parisiens who want their food mild and creamy, french style. Still, the dishes were very well prepared. No raw garlic nor onion. But with lots of balanced taste from t...
