"Beyond poor. Booked a table, arrived at said time and the restaurant was half full so no issues there. Was sat down and told we would be Brough menus. Waited ten minutes and a waitress came to take our order...we said we hadn't even had a menu yet! She grabbed menus, we chose quickly and ordered quickly. The waitress said she was flustered and very busy but did not allude to any abnormal wait times. We ordered a bottle of wine which was delivered promptly, but with no ice bucket or similar to keep it cool whilst we drank it over time. It was also advertised as barefoot but we were delivered a different brand with no reason or apology and it did taste cheaper. After waiting half an hour we noticed the waitress apologising to another table which was near us. We then went to ask how long food would be and we're told it would be another 40-50 minutes! On top of the 30 we had already waited. At no point had anyone come to our table to tell us this or apologise for the delays. We were travelling by train and the extra time would have meant eating in a rush and missing the last train so paid for the wine and left without food. Additionally during our visit I used the bathroom which is in an appalling state. Parts of the sink unit were hanging on. 2 of the 4 toilet cubicles don't shut or don't lock and one was blocked and overflowing. The 4th one was OK but cleanliness was poor. Considering this was around 8.30pm and the place wasn't busy it's clearly not just happened that night. I understand that places are short staffed due to covid isolations. But don't take bookings, or tell people that there is a very long wait on food, or offer apologies and complimentary drinks etc."

Called in yesterday with my daughter. Great to see this place back open!! Really enjoyed the tapas dishes, especially the honey chorizo! Really happy it’s back!

Ordered takeaway from here tonight. Three tapas dishes and a starter. Food was delivered before estimated time, driver was incredibly friendly and food was impeccable. Thank you!

We visited the restaurant today for a meal and drinks, as we have always had a good time here. Unfortunately, it was closed at 3:15 PM, despite their website indicating that it was open. The restaurant was all locked up with the lights on, but no one inside. It was disappointing that there was no notice on the door. We will not be attempting to visit again.

Tapas and cocktail bar?? Absolutely terrible. I have had better cocktails at a chain pub, and the food was completely disappointing. If this is supposed to be tapas, I hope no Spaniards ever come here. The menu options are limited and the quality is lacking. The service was even worse. Are the young girls working here even trained? Do they have a uniform? Overall, it was a terrible experience.

First time retuning to Mojos after lock down. We used to come here all the time for the all you can eat buffet many moons ago but can honestly say the food has never tasted better with the new owners and chef's!! And that was with the smaller tapas menu. The chef explained the menu expansion for the near future and we cant wait to visit again. We had such a laugh with our family supported by wonderful service! Thankyou, we'll be back soon! Best garlic mushrooms ever!! View menu

Don't even know where to start with this.. menu is not tapas based.. has starters mains and desserts (must be frozen desserts) so we ordered.. waiter was helpful (in clothes she must go to college in) and she took our order. Cheesy flat bread prawn cocktail as starters.. both shocking.. mains was chorizo in red wine chorizo in honey.. prawns which should of come with crispy roll.. chipolata which is suppose to be sticky?? Slop tbh.. meatballs in spicy sauce (bland meatballs and sauce was terrible) asked for desserts after our mains to be told only cheesecake. Frozen desserts.. shocking food wont recommended and will not return.

We were a party of 8 who had made a reservation over a week in advance. Upon arrival, we were told that the classic menu was not available, which was a significant portion of the choices. We ended up opting for the tapas menu, which had limited options and was not your typical tapas selection. The service was lacking, with only one waitress who seemed overwhelmed. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. The food took 45 minutes to arrive, and it came in two dishes at a time, causing a disjointed dining experience. Some dishes were missing from our order, and when one dish finally arrived after a long wait, we were already ready to leave so we sent it back to the kitchen. The waitress...

"Bill came to £145 for two people. This is the third time we have been to Mr Lous to try their “famous” lobster deal where you get a bottle of champagne with any 2pb Lobster which is only on Fridays. Each time we have been they have had NO lobster! Food we did order was extremely overpriced, dry and unpleasant. Duck spring rolls £7 hardly had any meat in them, just stuffed with a load of Veg. Honey Chicken £18 was basically 8 chicken nuggets on a plate with NO Sauce! We had to share the sauce from another main. Prawn toast £14 was awful! It is basically one piece of toast stuffed with more than the usual amount of Prawns. It was dry and taste was overwhelming with the amount of prawns stuffed in there. King Dum Po Chicken £24 calamari £4 £28 total for a main without any rice or chips! You could tell they reduced the portion size just to add the Calamari. Portion was mainly veg with little meat. AGAIN! Tried to order drinks with the porter who brings food to the table which he said he’ll get a staff member to come over. 15 minutes later no one came. I had my meal with no drink. We was in the booth right next to the bar so I had to go up and order it myself. Cocktail took another 10 minutes to come. Drinks were overpriced due to the lack of complimentary champagne with the lobster which we called and was assured they would have on! . Service was extremely slow, waited 20 minutes to get a waiters attention to pay the bill. You could spot way off who the owner was as she was stomping around the restaurant piercing looks at the staff. The concept of this restaurant is amazing, But the delivery on service, food, affordability and customer service have been compromised by its former reputation which once held this establishment in such a high pedestal. Now, it seems it’s got more expensive without any improvement on its service. It is the kind of restaurant you try once just for experience, but retention of customers is defiantly an issue this restaurant faces. Restaurant itself was designed with a gorgeous interior with good lighting. But, I wouldn’t be deceived."
