"Our experience at this restaurant was terrible, especially considering the price. We came to Plymouth on a tight budget and this completely ruined it. The food was not only terrible, but also appeared to be rotten. I ordered a garlic naan bread that was so thin it seemed as though it had been toasted. The only redeeming part of the meal was the chips and poppadoms. To make matters worse, they did not offer big bottles of water. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and advise against wasting your money here. To top it off, when we finally received the bill after waiting for nearly 10 minutes, nobody returned to our table to take payment. We had to get up and pay at the counter, where both employees rushed over as though we were trying to "dine and dash." Avoid this place, as the service and food were both terrible."

Just a great experience. Family run. Mother in the kitchen, father and daughter serving. Very friendly, good choice, fine food and top value. View menu

We had a really wonderful meal at Mombay Brasserie this evening. We walked over from Queen Ann’s Bettery Marina and found this gem of an Indian restaurant. The food was delicious and very unique to this place. Definitely not the run of the mill standard fare! We aim to come back next time we are docked at QAB

I stopped by without a reservation and had no trouble getting a table. The server was talkative, accommodating, and pleasant. The menu had plenty of options to choose from. The only downside was that the food took a bit long to arrive at our table. However, it was delicious when it finally did. Besides that, I can't think of any reason not to recommend this restaurant.

Ordered take out via jsut eat. First time using these guys. Delivery took 50 mins on a friday night, lovely friendly delivery lady, food was absolutely piping hot on serving. My partner didnt like the rice as said it was too bland but his tikka masala was superb. I had Bombay potatoes and polished off the lot (unusual for me) chips were fries but nice and crispy. Poppadums were warm and fresh. Our new indian! View menu

2 and a half hour wait delivery time. The chips were skin on which personally I think is disgusting that’s basically a jacket potato but with the skin. I had this last time the rice was disgusting and again the rice is disgusting , korma had no flavour at all was blander than the rice , Bombay aloo potato’s tasted odd and the sauce had no flavour , the bajjees weren’t the best but better than most. Nann bread was ok. The popadoms was the best part of the meal wouldn’t eat here if u paid me

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
