"This place is a delightful community shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is refreshingly genial. It is exactly the way a village shop should be. My wife and I stayed here as the owner has just opened a b&b on site. The accommodation is lovely (a decent size self-contained garden room very tastefully furnished) with a pleasant and private outside seating area. We had a lovely, comfortable , peaceful weekend stay with delicious cooked breakfasts in the morning. I cannot fault the shop, the accommodation or the people working there. The management have clearly put a lot of love and hard work into making this business to be a major asset to its community."

Fantastic shop with a great selection of everything you could need (and more) while camping. Food in the cafe is delicious and the bread and cake selections to buy are brilliant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 View menu

This cafe/shop is extremely friendly. The staff are always eager to assist. They offer a great variety of homemade cakes. Dining in was a pleasant experience. The prices are very affordable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.

This is such a special place with friendly staff and locals. We sat outside for breakfast and watched the world go past whilst having a great coffee and vegan sausage ciabatta. All the locals seemed to know each other it felt like being on a soap opera set ! Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff at this restaurant are very welcoming and friendly. However, service can be quite slow. It would be more efficient if waitstaff were able to multitask and attend to other customers or handle transactions while waiting for water to boil for tea. The food and service both receive a rating of 4, while the atmosphere is rated a 3. View menu

This place is an absolute gem in the area. We came here 3 days in a row whilst visiting. The coffee and food here is lovely we’d have 2 coffees in a row to get our fix. Best thing are the staff that work here, everyone is so nice and friendly. Especially the owners’ doggies that wander about. Highlight of our trip thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant needs to improve the transparency of its billing process. We chose to sit inside because of the weather and were charged an extra fee, which we later found out was listed on the blackboard. We did not see this information and were surprised to also be charged £2 for a small portion of crisps. It would be helpful if VAT was clearly displayed at the bottom of the bill. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience and do not plan on returning. In terms of the food, we rated it a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.
