"An awesome place to visit if you feel homesick.. We were four of us really hungry looking for a decent Indian place to dine.. immediately screened for the best place to dine nearby in Tripadvisor app, since we were already too tired after shopping at Champs Elysees..New Jhelum caught our eye and we decided to check that out since it was the closest from our Hotel.. a 10 min walk frm 1st Arr.We were skeptical as soon as we reached as we found very few guests inside, while the Japanese restaurants were packed to the block as we approached New Jhelum. We anyway decided to walk in and we chose a table facing the road which seemed a good option. We were greeted by a gentlemen who obviously recognised that we were from India and started communicating with us in Hindi. Mr. Waqar, the owner of the restaurant is a gem and a warm & wonderful person. Since he was from Lahore & we from Mumbai, we had to a lot to discuss, right from Cricket to Politics to Business, everything we possibly could. Special mention for the food too.. the poulet kebabs were delectable, so was the Onion Bhajiya.. the Daal was simply outstanding & the complimentary desserts by Mr.Waqar summedup our lovely evening in Paris on Independence Day.."a votre santa to our friendship, Bonne Chance New Jhelum""

We were home sick for Indian food after a week in Paris. The food hit the spot and service was outstanding.

I have been in this place almost two years ago. I returned this month and it continues serving very nice Pakistani food. The place is "clean" and the owner keeps running it very seriously with his family.

Easy to book through the trip advisor site and very easy to find. Very clean and presentable, food and service were excellent. Final bill was surprisingly low. Would highly recommend and I will definitely eat here again.

No doubt the most genuine hosts to serve the best Pakistani Indian food in Paris. My 13 and 8 year old girls enjoyed it so much, are now planning to make future trips to Paris for dinning at New Jehlum. Traditional kulfi is also a must try. Thank you to Mr Bakar and his supreme team.

We are from Mexico and We only had one night, so we decided to go to this Indian restaurant. The food is great and the service great as well. We fully recommend the Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, the eggplant with curry, the Palak Panir and Chicken Vindaloo. It was an awesome experience.

We visited on a Sunday night, the place was very busy but we were seated quickly.Limited choice of menu but what they do offer they do very very well.Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the foodWould recommend anyone looking for a nice Indian meal in a nice setting. The offer of a free drink on the house when asking for the bill was very nice touch..

I took my youngest daughter to Pairs for her 18th birthday and she requested Indian/Pakistani for dinner. Found New Jhelum and it was fantastic. We had a window table and enjoyed a nice 2-hour meal and aperitif.Very nice service and the Poulet Tikka was one of the best I have ever had. The prices are fantastic for a restaurant of this quality in Paris. If you're looking for Indian food in Paris you need to visit New Jhelum.
