Food was nice, staff friendly and not too expensive for date night : ribeye was amazing

Lovely setting both inside and out. My 6 year old and I loved it. Good food and service was exceptional. All the young staff were lovely to my wee girl who has a broken arm. We will be back.

I visited some friends here recently and we made multiple stops to this delightful restaurant. Hands down, best fish and chips I've ever had. Now that I'm back in the USA, I'm sad I'll have to really search to find the same level of quality. View menu

Walking passed and looked inviting, especially seating outside. Great service and food perfect; then realised it was Nick Nairns new venture (unfortunately closed soon after opening due to COVID19 and just back open ...it then suddenly became a bargain. (Picture says it all scoffed .

We had a wonderful dining experience with the delicious rump of lamb and sesame salmon with noodles—both dishes were cooked to perfection. The panna cotta dessert was also incredible. The staff maintained a high standard of quality and provided excellent service, which is the best we've encountered in Scotland.

Went for a nice pre Christmas lunch, ended up having Christmas dinner, it was fab, even Nicola could not spoil it as so I had my non alcoholic Becks. Absolutely fantastic! The food, drinks, and service were all of an exceptional quality. We started with the squid and prawns, followed by the sesame salmon and Moroccan chicken supreme, and everything was simply amazing! I ordered the passion fruit and coconut cocktail, and I could easily have worked my way through the entire menu. The decor is also very tasteful, creating a lovely atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

As a trio of elderly diners we were slightly anxious at our first venture out to eat, in over a year. We shouldn’t have worried. Nick’s is so worth a visit. Excellent venue, welcoming. Staff, Grace and Hannah were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind. We all relished the fish and chips, best ever, followed by a scrumptious dessert. Virgin mock tails were a first! Such a treat to once again enjoy good tasty food in a safe environment, we’ll be back for more soon as ......

We didn't expect to get a table, but we were fortunate. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food quality was excellent; all six of us really enjoyed our meals. The burger and fries were fantastic, and the Super Food salad was top-notch. Portion sizes were generous, and we definitely didn't leave feeling hungry. The dessert menu was limited, but my choice was very delicious. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they were great with the kids as well. I would highly recommend visiting for a mid- to high-priced dining experience. View menu
