Used to come here frequently. I’m not going back. Staff in general are nice, don’t tend to see them for very long, however the manager was unreasonable.

First visit to Oxford today and came across this cafe when we were looking for Oxford Ceramics Gallery close by. The service was great and the choice of drinks and cakes excellent. We enjoyed our coffee so much; we came back later for lunch and were not disappointed. Would certainly visit again. View menu

Opera Cafe catered for a birthday party I held today, and the food and service was truly top notch. They accommodated me when I made a date mistake that I caught very late, and the food itself was delicious and seriously great value. Highly, highly recommend them for catering or for eating in they're the best.

I have been to Opera Cafe many times and have never been disappointed in what I ordered. The range of food and drinks is great, and the outside seating is especially lovely to sit in in the summer. On top of that, the staff are always kind and friendly, and between the loyalty card and student discount, OC is very student-friendly. I can recommend the Persian Love Cake especially, it's always a treat when available.

I made the mistake of coming here in early December. The Food is mediocre and over priced, can get far better in other cafes in Oxford. My meal came cold and the wait was extremely long. My coffee was also cold and my friends iced drink came in a filthy glass covered in greasy finger marks. The staff were extremely unpleasant when I quiereed the wait time and the owner of the cafe was very rude and aggressive. He definitely needs to go and get some therapy! I will not be coming back and recommend you do the same! View menu

I've been to the Opera Cafe several times since it was recommended to me by a friend in 2022. I'm very fussy abouy my coffee and have been very pleased with the black Americano served here. The people I've been with tell me that the milky offerings are good as well. Each time I've visited I've had a vegetarian wrap of some sort and they've all been very tasty and great value. Service has always been quick and friendly, even when there is a long queue. All-in-all, I'd have to say that the Opera Cafe is my first choice near the centre of Oxford for coffee or a quick lunch.

In the past I have reviewed Opera Cafe and my view on the quality of food/coffee does not change, however today my wife met with unacceptable behaviour. Having been there in the past and having been quite satisfied, my wife popped in as we were passing by just to ask for a plastic cup. The reaction of the staff was astonishing, the barista went as far as saying rather rudely, leave me alone, I am busy . I am not sure what was going on this person 's mind and frankly I do not care, if he is unable to handle a simple request, he is evidently in the wrong line of work. It is rather sad, the place is nice and such behaviours are not doing justice to it.

I came in today to this lovely Small cafe The staff welcomed us , I felt like i am in a restaurant not a cafe shop. We had a cafe to start our morning , the manager made suer our cafe is hot as we requested, Fazel his name i think, he made suer my cafe is with oat milk as i am lactose intolerance, he delivered our order by him self and made suer everything is ok . So we decided to come back for brunch, so again Fazel made suer our wraps and soups are hot and he cleaned the toster personally so no cheese left over is touching our food . again it is really busy small cafe shop and yet again Fazel he delivered our food.
