Nice food and friendly staff. I had the soup of day (vegetable broth) which came with break and butter, and the hand battered haggis. Both were spot on. To round up I had a hot chocolate. Good service and nice friendly atmosphere in the cafe.

Great cafe, we had a good lunch for a fairly reasonable price. However, I found the service quite mediocre: no water at the table, no cutlery systematically. I don’t want to judge food and beverages like hot chocolate, as, throughout Scotland, there is a totally different view from us Italians on what is a hot chocolate, for them is a latte macchiato, nothing more. But apart from this that can be part of the traditions, the local would need a refreshed and some extra formalities in the service.
