Osteria Del Tempo Perso

Amazing food, so tasty! We came on a date and all the waiters were lovely and attentive. I tried muscles for the first time and they had a wonderful sauce. Would highly recommend if you like Italian food!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely exceptional. Despite living nearby, this was our first time dining here as a couple. The dishes were fantastic, the wine selection was superb, and overall we had a wonderful meal. 5 stars and more++.

Lovely place situated in Bruntsfield. Inside it’s god a great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. The food is tasty with a great menu selection and super wine selection. We’ve eaten in and ordered take out and we’ve never been disappointed!

Fantastic service, fantastic ambiance, and delicious food. Tempo Perso is a truly authentic Italian restaurant in Edinburgh. A must-visit for anyone living in the city. We felt transported to Italy and David provided us with top-notch service. He was exceptional.

This was simply sensational and in reality around £40-45 per person based on six people. So much food for this price and the quality was fantastic. Starters and sides and main courses! Pale rose wine which was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Pasta at its finest! Takes American Express.

If you are craving real italian food, then Osteria del Tempo Perso is the place to go. Lovely pasta, fish and meat dishes (and no pizza here) that will make you feel like you are in the middle of a little village in Tuscany. We had the bruschetta for starters and then I had an amazing dish of pasta. Staff were super friendly and the decoration is superb.

I discovered a great restaurant tucked away behind my house. I was finally able to enjoy a delicious cup of Kimbo coffee. I tried the noodles and chicken and both were fantastic. The service was excellent and the ambiance was peaceful. They offer great lunch specials at affordable prices, including discounts for students. It's nice to finally find a place in the city that serves good coffee and provides affordable lunch options. I'm thrilled to have found this hidden gem.

here! absolute jewel of a money. authentic Italian cuisine with great antipasti. impromptu visit after a few drinks. we found ourselves for three courses as the menu looked so good. very chilled, beautiful atmosphere and when we sat to read the menu that we were offered to try glasses of glittering pink wein (love, dear, dear) obviously a sucker for these sales pushes was I had the bottle that was super delicious! even if they receive the bill, it comes in a very reasonable envelope. see picture . will definitely be back for a rework apertivo.

this was a beautiful, comfortable and functional place with quite authentic Italian food. the meat and fish were delicious, the roasted seafood starter was especially good. the portions are quite large, so they better be quite hungry. the wine selection was quite comprehensive, and the personal is happy to make suggestions if they are not sure what they are looking for. there is also a chalkboard with the specialities of the day. the service was a bit slow, but was very friendly, I guess that only added the authentic Italian experience. I would go back with very little excitement.
