"I had my lunch which was Indonesian Satay with beef and Oolong tea. The food was excellent, exactly original Indonesian taste brought in a big portion together with a bowl of steam rice and a very fresh and tasty salad. Prices rather small according to the quality and quantityof food and great service 10+for the Chef. The server , Julia was extremely kind, helpful, professional, smiling all the time. 10+ Inside is a nice music , not very loud, but exactly how it should be in a small cozy Asian food place. Very peaceful and relaxing. However, it was the first time when I came to eat in this place. I walked inside, but I walked outside immediately to check the Korean pub on the opposite side of the road. Why? Because Pan Pan it doesn't look so great decorated from outside and I didn't trust it so much. I ve lived in Thailand and traveled in whole indochina for 20 years. I wanted an authentic taste of Asian food. So, I came back 3 min later because the other Korean pub was closed, so I didn't have a choice. And I didn't regret any second ! I felt absolutely great in Pan Pan! I recommend from whole my heart I ll come back at Pan Pan for sure. Pan Pan is not only a fake advertising, but for sure The real taste of Asian Far East . Thank you, Chef, Julita and all Pan Pan staff for your brilliant work"

Going to recommend to everybody and can’t wait to go back. We ordered half the starters on the menu and I can’t complain about a single thing. Faves hoisin duck bao, prawn katsu and tobboki Absolutely recommend!

This restaurant is a great spot for a relaxed dinner. It's on the smaller side so it's best to make a reservation in advance, but the food is top-notch. I tried the laksa and it was fantastic. They offer a variety of delicious dishes on the menu at a reasonable price.

Pan Pan is a cozy restaurant with a simple interior that may not be appealing to older customers. The atmosphere is mainly filled with young people, which can be a bit intimidating for some. However, the food is outstanding with fresh and intense flavors, expertly cooked and beautifully presented. Each bite is a delightful experience. I will definitely be returning for my birthday, as they offer seating upstairs with more space. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. View menu

We had a wonderful meal at Pan Pan, where we enjoyed a variety of starters and mains. The prawn and leek dumplings were deliciously crispy and light, while the grilled aubergine was perfectly cooked. The Malaysian yellow curry was exceptionally tasty, and we also enjoyed a lovely selection of wine. The service was attentive and friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised with a delightful birthday pudding. Thank you, Pan Pan, for a truly delicious meal and a lovely atmosphere.

If you are ever in Oxford and craving some Asian cuisine, I highly suggest checking out Pan Pan, a fantastic little independent restaurant. My husband and I stopped in for lunch today for the first time and tried the pork dumplings, chicken laksa, and chicken Thai green curry...and we were not disappointed! The dumplings were succulent, the green curry was aromatic, and the laksa had a great burst of flavor with perfectly cooked chicken. Thank you, Pan Pan - we will definitely be returning!

Conveniently located on St Clements Street in Oxford, this restaurant is a great option for those looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center. Nearby parking is available for customers. The menu offers a variety of Asian fusion options that are simple and easy for the kitchen to prepare. While the flavors may not be completely authentic, they are still enjoyable. A standout dish is the Korean fried chicken, and the Japchae with beef is also delicious. However, I would not recommend the Thai green curry or spring rolls. The Hainan rice is plain white rice without seasoning, and Bubble Tea is available but requires an extra charge for tapioca bubbles. View menu

We booked the restaurant for our sons graduation meal his choice. We were a group of seven family members traveling in from London, Belgium, Essex and the Midlands. We were met with a warm welcome and shown to our table. Not all of our group arrived together, so we ordered drinks and waited the arrival of the rest of the family. The staff waited patiently until all had arrived, a drink had been had and then they approached for our orders. We ordered crispy calamari, sticky ribs. Kimchee, spring rolls, chicken Laksa, chicken Pad Thai, chicken Pho, and many more dishes. The food arrived about 15 30 minutes later which in our opinion was a perfect period of time. The food was hot, very tasty an...

So disappointed with the food. Ordered the Tebboki which was a very odd texture and not as I expected. I could forgive this though, but it got worse. They had a separate vegan menu which I was very excited about. I ordered the vegan pad Thai. My friend ordered the non vegan one. When they brought it to the table we double checked and I was told I had the vegan one. I started eating and discovered egg in it. They had mixed them up. They apologised and remade them but I was very upset. It is just not ok, especially with a separate vegan menu. It was not that flavoursome, a good pad Thai is so delicious, but not this one. I left half and asked to take it away with me. The waiter lifted the plat...

"I've been going to Oxford for 3 years now and in that time to be frank struggled to find a decent go to restaurant. I can now say with delight i've found my destination. I present SPICED ROOTS a little caribbean culinary gem. The fresh perfectly cooked food is absolutely delicious and gives off that home cooked by mummy vibe and is beautifully presented. The chilli and garlic prawns had my eyes closed Mark Weins style (if you know you know) so juicy with an incredible depth of flavour, the Trini doubles not only were seasoned to perfection they left you wanting more and the Jerk chicken spring rolls were an absolute triumph. For mains we had the ackee and callaloo Jerk Tempah (vegetarian) and the Jerk chicken. Both came with rice peas, plaintain and salad. Not only were the portions huge the flavours of both dishes were just mind blowingly delicious. Then we embarked on dessert and had the beautiful spiced rum cake and a selection of 3 home made ice creams namely Coconut, Guinness and the old Caribbean favourite Rum and Raisin, all recommended by the owner. It's at this point I feel compelled to speak about the rum raisin ice cream. I've eaten this ice cream on numerous occasions at numerous locations in Jamaica over my many years and I tell you no word of a lie this was hands down the best rum and raisin ice cream I've ever tasted, it literally left us speechless. So to summarise, this place has great food, great music, great service and a wonderfully charming owner who's totally invested in serving great, incredibly tasty, authentic Caribbean food clearly prepared with love. What more could you ask for. Fair to say it was meant to be. Uncle Jay."
