"Last time I was here was years ago. Food was very good. This time the food was poor. I had a dry congealed black linguine with octopus. For it needs to be top notch, this pasta was worth or less. How...they let a dish of this quality out of the kitchen with that price tag I don’t know. The owner really needs to have a tete a tete with the head chef or recruit a new chef to buck up the kitchen. Service has a pleasant, casual feel which I don’t mind but feels a bit like a Berlin cafe rather than restaurant. Previous reviewer was right : drinks are over-priced. Alas, based on this experience I won’t be going back and Pappa E Ciccia is off my Berlin eatery list."

The black linguine is superb. Every bite got better and better. The octopus was great compliment as well. Very accommodating. Service was slightly slow but...

For a restaurant trying to be refined, serving a room temperature wine is kind of a shame. I liked this place but tonight my opinion changed. The relaxed service also felt just lousy. View menu

We went for a pleasant Italian evening, the Vitella Tonnato was top notch, the fluff left pasta good as it was black truffles not white. All was well delivered in a timely and paced manner. No complaints and will go again.

We were very disappointed because the quality of the veal was very bad. We complaint because it was not possible to cut the flesh and therefore you could really not eat it. They cut the flesh in the kitchen and gave us the same flesh...again!!! Stupid to try to solve this problem like this. So be wise and do not go to this restaurant!

In the neighborhood we tried this Italian restaurant. My son had been there before and thought we might like to try it. We weren’t wowed by our experience. It was about alright, with a trying server who was overly friendly and inefficient. We had quite...a bit to eat since we were hungry but it wasn’t overly good really. The tiramisu our final dish was good. I doubt I’ll be coming back. View menu

Wine was expensive: we asked the waitress for advice on which wine to choose, she recommended one and turns out it was for a glass. I wouldn't say the wine was Tagliatelli caponata were delicious. My partner's spaghetti with sea food was...a bit dry but okay as well. This restaurant was recommended to us, I'll recommend it to other people as well but warn them to take a good look at the drinks menu first!

Had a Sunday night dinner here and really enjoyed it...have lived around the corner from this place for years and this was our first time trying (wish we would have gone earlier)! We had a starter of eggplant with burrata cheese which was delicious....We had a pasta and a meat dish for our main course. Both main dishes were very good. Not a lot of menu options but this seems to be because they make seasonal dishes. Our server was very nice and the atmosphere was nice...busy but not too crowded. Would definitely go back!
