"The Paradis Thai restaurant in Paris's Rue de Tolbiac which runs from Ave D'Italie to the 13th Arrondissement's Chinatown is something very special. One can see right from standing outside it that a wonderful experience awaits one on pushing open the door. I've lunched and dined here a few times, and did so again this Christmas of 2018. The deco is elegant; the tables well placed for privacy, the staff attenive and the food is fantastic. The cocktails too are fantastic: not only do they look beautiful they are very very nice. The menu is well laid out, and the food is not just Thai but Asian. Yes, it is on the expensive side more expensive than those restaurants in Chinatown itself, but believe me eating here is something very special. From my photos you will have an idea of what you will be able to order, and what the dishes look like. The porions are large"

First time here for lunch w my family and it's delicious!! Love the Tom Yum soup, pineapple fried rice, basil beef, chicken curry, and papaya salad.

I was about to rate it as 4* but I realized that the service was really underwhelming. It is pretty gas which was enjoyable (although I was mostly alone) but a smile and the lack of attitude could have helped. Overall, not a bad place at all but definitely room for improvement.

Restaurant going down hill. It looks old and need badly refurbishment , the food is average but the organisation is not there. For a table of 10 dishes arrived 2 by two with. Very long waiting time so when the last person got its dish the first had already finished his for a long time , waiter said tonight we are too busy so you can not order desserts or just ice-cream what the heck !

Last night, we had the right to a deplorable service! The younger server was dragging his feet, titubating and making a funeral head! Finally incomprehensible! This restaurant by its decor is a little more chic than the others around, but it was a big joke! The young man at the crate was as unreactive, he was given a sign that he could not captivate the attention of our server, he saw us but did not move to his crate. Food is correct but not always of equal quality. In addition, this restaurant is more expensive than most restaurants in the 13th, we agree to pay a little more expensive if the service is up to the level! The management should be more attentive to the selection of the staff beca...

from the soft crab, passing through the nems for my colleague, to the swine with curry accompanied by noodles, beef salad with lemongrass as many dishes that have enchanted us. dishes that are just as good in a restaurant of the 13th, (not all), but that seem a little more refined. It's in any case the impression I got and not the only one. you can find the rates a little high but the place is refined, clean and the kitchen is of quality. It's not the kind of place we're going to eat every day, but to be happy from time to time. My only regret is that you are not supported by a server from beginning to end, so the quality of the service is not the same at the entrance as at dessert! it says,...
