Gave this restaurant another go. Our previous experience was one of waiting almost 2 hours between starters and main course, restaurant wasn't particularly busy but was focused on take aways and deliveries. However we thought give it another go, sadly still the same, a long wait for the main course and nothing but take away and deliveries going out the door. Food nothing special either. Tucked away round the corner this is a little gem. Staff are lovely, nothing too much trouble and the food is the best around this area. They are also not in the least pushy. The vegetable dishes are clearly freshly cooked, delicious and the prices reasonable.I always over order so I can take it home. Lots of choice of interesting options for meat eaters too. I have ordered takeout from this restaurant multiple times over the past ten years. Unfortunately, last week's meal was very disappointing - the main dishes had tough meat/prawns and a poor meat to sauce ratio. The rice was decent and the Aloo Gobi was delicious. At £46 for 2 people, I don't think I will be ordering from here again. The service was decent but the food quality was lacking. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5 and the service a 5 out of 5.

I have visited this curry house several times in the past few years and have always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. Despite spending £86 on a curry for six people, we were very disappointed. The ratio of meat to sauce was poor, with only about 4/5 large pieces of chicken in the curry and the rest being thin, watery sauce. The chicken was tough and chewy, making it unpleasant to eat. The onion bhajis came in a greasy paper bag that had leaked, causing a mess. Some of the bhajis fell apart easily, while others were overcooked and tough.
