"They've recently introduced a seven course tasting menu. What's unusual is that they give a list of what might be in the various courses though but there are a couple of traps. So you get served stuff and then ask you what it was you ate. Which is where the bravery comes in. I thinks that we would definitely class as foodies but do I know my Arctic char from my hake? Is that a sauce or a reduction?Overall it's a fun idea but seven courses is too much. Can't fault either the quality of the cuisine or the service but I felt very stuffed at the end which isn't the right way to end a meal.As I say it's an interesting idea. I wonder what the Michelin inspectors would make of it."

This was a beautiful night out, starting with an aperitif on the deck with the sound of running water, enjoying mushroom ice cream (sounds strange, but was lovely), and being wowed by the impressive cheese selection. The restaurant itself was just beautiful as well - definitely recommend that you eat here if you're in the area!

Went with a group of ten guests who were on a culinary adventure with le Calabash Cooking School and they all absolutely loved the experience. Definitely worth a star and worth a visit. Allow the wine waiter to pair the wines for you, he is really very good at it.The Foie Gras was absolutely exquisite, the highlight of the meal for me.

I booked the 8 course tasting menu which the chef chooses depending upon the availability of seasonal food. Each course was exquisite, both in taste and presentation and the service was impeccable. 4 courses were based around seafood, including lobster. The cheeseboard was amazing, both in size and quality and there were two dessert courses, both gorgeous. No hesitation in recommending and will certainly return.

The experience of Passions and Gourmandises was fabulous from start to finish. We tried to speak French, they tried to speak English and it all went smoothly. Every dish was beautifully presented on white, China (not a bit of slate to be seen , take notice Uk!) the service was very pleasant, from the owner to the cheese Young man to the Filipino work experience boy. The food was fabulous and every course was a wow. Loved it. Thank you. View menu

We came here for lunch and took the menu. The food was of very high quality, you could feel that a lot of effort and creativity was invested in the dishes, and that all the ingredients were fresh. The meal was more of the "interesting" quality, and less of the "this is so yummy", so be ready for a culinary experience, and for a corresponding price tag.The decor and the service is very posh - we actually felt a bit out of place as we're just regular foodies, so come dressed as well as you can.

ambiance very cold and ugly. very far from the standard of a michelin star place.the owner very fake and totally far from the customers,I booked asking to put a little candel on the dessert of my man. Nobody did. and Nobodoy took the responsability for this.Kitchen nothing of special. Wine list poor and expensive also without any reasons.I asked for vegeterian dish and they brang me a black octopus gnocco sayng "we have not killed anybody to do it". If you are looking for a Michelin Experience please avoid this.

We have read such mixed reviews of this restaurant but we can only say our experience has been wonderful. We have been coming here once a year since 2012 when visiting France from Australia and have thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the passion the chef has for the french cuisine. Although some dishes on the menu have more flavour than others, we love the atmosphere and complete dining experience. Each course has a wow feature and we're looking forward to going back this year. Our favourite time of reserving a table is for lunch on the terrace on a warm summer's day. View menu

The first thing you should know about this great restaurant is that your chef, Richard Toix, has been decorated with a Michelin star. From here, any description I can give you is the least. The two rooms at the Passions Gourmandises restaurant offer a modern and elegant frame. The intimate atmosphere of the rooms accompanies contemporary decoration, emphasizing the Zen atmosphere. A warm atmosphere that is better only when the dishes are served: smoked salmon, veal head and a very original version of black pudding with fantastic apple! If you have a reason to celebrate, do not hesitate to approach this wonderful restaurant!
