Lovely garden centre. Such helpful staff. Loads of beautiful well kept plants, herbs, veggies and the most reasonable prices I've seen. Tea shop too.

Good range of plants and trees. Lovely cafe with a few tables. Gets busy tho! We had a pot.of tea, bottle of water and ham salad sandwich with crisps for £6. Really fresh.

Nice little garden centre, a good range of plants and compost. Small teashop with a nice renge of drinks and nibbles. No frills and fancy home bits, its just a really good GARDEN centre. Knowledgeable staff too. View menu

Excellent garden centre, not so much shopping but plants composts etc just like garden centres used to be back in the day, tea rooms for a drink and a bite to eat. Good prices ,healthy plants and personal service

A great nursery with knowledgeable staff and different plants throughout the year. Plenty of parking, level surfaces for mobility, plus cafe and toilets on site. Great stopping off point for walkers and cyclists too.

"I’ve just realised I’ve been visiting The Beck for over 20 years now for both drinks and meals with friends and family and I’ve never written a review! The Beck for me is home from home and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited. They say a business is only as good as it’s staff, and maybe this is why The Beck has lasted so long with a reputation for a relaxed atmosphere good food and good service. The staff here are friendly, caring and professional, I’ve never been anywhere where I felt so at home as The Beck. Edward, Julie, Theresa, Kieran and not forgetting Trish in the kitchen make the place what it is! In 20 years I’ve never had a bad meal here, the food is excellent, and today did not disappoint. I was treating my parents and wife to a belated Mother’s Day and Dad’s birthday meal out, I had the lamb roast which was sublime and my dad had the blade of beef which in his words was “melt in your mouth” good! My Wife had a chilli and my Mum had the flat bread, which were also very nice and portions are plentiful. My daughter has Dairy and Soya allergies and wanted sausages and mash however the mash had butter in it so they made it with chips instead, she also cleared her plate! If you want to go somewhere with a nice warm friendly atmosphere and excellent food at very reasonable prices then The Beck is definitely worth a visit."
