everything an Asian restaurant needs a little Franconian impact in a rustic atmosphere. everything was super tasty and fresh!Netter service and a great selection of gin that leaves no wish open! we were advised to eat, weeping and gin very well and happy to come back View menu

We were in the Pelikan for the first time. You'll get a seat before 17.30. Later coming guests wait up to 30 minutes. Tables are always free. The food is super delicious. The service is very friendly. I cannot understand the assessment of the Lord from Berlin. Stay there best....Pelikan at any time!

service sometimes was out of control. staff is just to few for a fully crowded restaurant of that size. food was good, but took some time, did not all arrive at once, unfortunately one of us had even to wait for minutes. by...than the rest of the table was finished with their dinner. they were friendly though

we used to find unbelievably in the pelikan, especially because of the sesional kitchen and the successful combination between native vegetables and Asian, especially tailand cuisine.Leider has changed the cook and in the beige of this the entire operation seems no longer to work: we have to wait over two hours for our food, the selection was significantly reduced (in particular the kombian View menu

we visited the pelikan to celebrate the yearly conclusion there. for our colleagues there were meat-spokes or other various dishes that looked very appetizing. there were spring rolls that unfortunately only finished products were at least the vegetarian variants. I took the reisnudels (believe no. 42). the sweet tasted fresh and not as finished from the dose as well as the rice noodles. all in all, eating delicious was just a little too expensive. but it is worth visiting.

A bartender at a Bamberg pub recommended we check out the Pelikan for our one night in Bamberg. When we finally made it to this neighborhood gem long walk!, I was THRILLED to see the menu and LOVED my meal. It was crowded, but we...found a candlelit table for Service was fine for the crowd inside, and we really enjoyed the wine, beer and food. The atmosphere was cool dark inside mysterious, almost! This restaurant is located across the road from the Hotel Residenzschloss. We did not have a booking but they accommodated us at a high table which suited us fine. It's the kind of place you would walk past as it is quite dark and we...thought it was closed but when you go in you discover that the back area, I suppose you would call it a beer garden area, was open and trading. We had dinner there two nights out of the five we were in Bamberg and I would definitely go to eat there if I ever return to Bamberg. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. Put this on your list of places to eat in Bamberg!! View menu
