"I visited Pepe Nero on 15th August 2021. That evening they were only serving the Ferragosto fish set menu, which was OK, but not great. The ink squid risotto was pretty plain. Same for the calamarata pasta. You could hardly find a piece of fish in the plates! Also the mojito sorbetto wasn't too great and tasted odd. I only enjoyed the starter to be honest. On the other hand the location is amazing. Beautiful terrace and wonderful atmosphere. What a shame that the food wasn't what we expected, given that this place is considered to be one of the best restaurants around the Bolsena lake. A bit pricey too, considering what was on the set menu."

The location has a nice view. The staff was nice. I did find a small hair in my side dish and they replaced it right away. But I did ask for my leftovers to be boxed and when we got back to our hotel I noticed there was a long hair in my leftovers.

Bella terrazza in riva al lago dove si mangia anche un ottima cucina di mare. Proprietario competente e appassionato. Menzione particolare va ad un’anguilla veramente eccellente. Ottimi anche i primi. Bel posto molto curato sia negli arredi che nella presentazione dei piatti.
