I came here spontaneously with my friends we were 5people. Service was nice they made a space for us and serve us even though it was late i think. The food was good. The fried mix fish was so so though and the tuna and salmon tartar was not the best i had. But our main dishes were all very delicious. PLACE TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID. FRAUD. Reservation for Valentine's Day for two people and when we arrive at the restaurant (if we can call it such) we discover that there is no à la carte menu but only a menu for the evening. Obviously we were not advised of this and very importantly all the other tables had the normal à la carte menu. None of the three waiters were prepared and the welcome was non-existent. The truth is that I don't understand the punctuation of this site. We ordered two plates of pasta fruti di mare and they were more or less edible. But we also ordered a salmon tartare that didn't taste like anything, a squid salad that was balled up, and a tuna tartare that we didn't finish eating because we doubted whether the tuna was in good condition. Already talking about the service, without words. The young guy was super unpleasant to us, although I suppose it was nothing personal, since every now and then he would hit the bar or come out cursing. I do not recommend at all. First time at this restaurant. I like the concept of the fish shop which becomes a restaurant in the evening. The 3 of us had 2 appetizers: exquisite, very tasty (and not obvious) mussels, calamari, excellent cooking/consistency. Second course: mixed grill, everything very tasty (here too it wasn't obvious sometimes quantity is preferred over quality), delicious octopus and delicious monkfish scialatielli. My husband and I found this wonderful restaurant by chance on January 20, 2014. It's pretty central and was just a few minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo. The food was very good and fresh. The pasta with lobster was better than many fine dining restaurants we have eaten at before. We enjoyed it very much. Many thanks to the chef and the friendly young man who served us. A normal restaurant where fresh fish is offered. No fancy stuff. It focuses on what it offers and can do. The staff was a little confused. But as the saying goes, many cooks spoil the broth. First there wasn't one dish and another one was ordered and later forgotten. Then the dish was there after all, but since another one was ordered and forgotten, the second one remained. In Italy it's just the case that you get the courses one after the other, even if they were for two different people and should have been served at the same time. But that was probably misunderstood. So lame!!! After a superb gastronomic week in Milan we went to dinner in this restaurant/fishmonger a few steps from our hotel because with 3 young children and terrible weather we wanted to keep things simple. We might as well tell you that we would have done better to walk 30 minutes in the pouring rain earlier than to ruin our last dinner like this!!
