this charming restaurant gave us one of the best meals we had in a long time. the food was excellent and the staff was cheerful, courteous and professional. we are on vacation in the opposite and we will visit again before we go home.

We dined at 6 PM yesterday and received a warm welcome. The food was exceptional, as was the customer service. Both my wife and I ordered the lightly battered haddock, and we both agreed it might be the best we've ever had. The batter was incredibly light and flavorful, enhancing the meal. Highly recommended!

Finally, an unforgettable late lunch last year remained overnight. once again the battle delayed me along the theoretical footpaths, but an excellent steak and an imaginative pudding were enchanted and the accommodation and the breakfast were top-class. long it can survive as a common run and well supported downfall! I'd seen that there were lots of good reviews for The Pheasant so I was expecting good things but I was honestly blown away by just how good it was. Absolutely first rate staff and friendly service and the food was utterly incredible, I honestly don't think I've ever had better anywhere in the world. We will most definitely be going back! Can't rate our experience highly enough.

The restaurant boasts a fantastic location and a great selection of beers. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. It was quite busy during our visit, which made it a bit noisy. The garden is beautifully decorated and adds to the overall charm. One suggestion for improvement would be to use nylon or rubber pads on the chair legs, as the constant scraping noise made conversation challenging and detracted from the restaurant's ambiance. We stayed here while searching for a house and were so glad we chose this place. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with an excellent en suite bathroom. As for the food—FANTASTIC! We enjoyed lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and they were all superb. The menu was great, featuring fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, along with exceptional cooking. To top it off, the service was outstanding as well. Even our dog, Bruce, was pampered with a sausage cooked just for him! I can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.
