"Where do I begin? First of all, there was no record of my reservation, but thankfully, there was a table available. We waited for the menu to arrive, but when it did, we were informed that there were no starters available during the week. The menu itself offered very limited choices, so we opted for the carvery. Unfortunately, all the vegetables were dried out and hard, indicating they hadn't been refreshed; I really didn't feel like eating them. If it hadn't been for my friend's birthday, I would have walked out. The meat was sliced so thin that you could see through it. I did voice my concerns but was merely told that if I came back again, they would ensure it didn't happen next time. I definitely won't be returning! On a side note, the gentleman who served the meat was quite grumpy and unhelpful."

"I went out for a birthday dinner with friends, and I must say, the staff were exceptional; they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. "I am saddened to write this review tonight about our experience at Graze. We have enjoyed dining here many times in the past, but our takeaway order on Friday evening was disappointing. After waiting 15-20 minutes for our order to be ready, we discovered that it was not correct. Instead of the halloumi we ordered, we received all chicken wings. The Grow Mould Together burger was bitter and had a strange soap-like taste, causing my partner not to finish it. Both burgers were overcooked and tasteless, not meeting the usual standard we are used to. We did not reach out to the restaurant to complain as it was not worth making the trip back and waiting for a correct order. We were looking forward to our meal all week and were disappointed with tonight's experience. When supporting a local business, there is an expectation of quality that was not met in this instance. Hopefully, this feedback can be helpful for improvement in the future."

"Visited here for lunch with family. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who told us they were very busy and if we didn’t mind a wait they had a table available. This table happened to be right outside the ladies loo. (Door opens outwards right next to the table). The rest of the staff were miserable. A different Lady came over to order our food and we said we weren’t ready and she huffed off. Then a guy came to take our order and seemed a bit confused. Our food arrived and I asked for an extra slice of toast for my weaning baby. It took them until I’d finished my meal for the single slice of toast to come. Then we took longer to finish while my baby ate. All whilst the ladies toilet was super busy and people queued next to our table. The food was ok but the customer service needs work."

"I arrived at the restaurant today, 24/11, and was greeted with a fantastic smile and enthusiasm by Andy. I had booked the pheasant for my birthday celebration as it is not far from home and after searching extensively for a local hotel with exceptional food, we decided on this one. I can confidently say that it lived up to my expectations. I received a warm welcome, the food menu was great, and the hotel rooms were lovely. The only reason I have given it a 4-star rating is because of the noise from downstairs that could be heard in the hotel room. It is now 12:52 and I can clearly hear the conversations of people talking. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise, it would have been a 5-star rating. We will definitely be back, but only for the food and drink. Well done, keep up the good work."
