We visited the hotel for a wedding. The hotel is fabulous and has lovely grounds. The staff were very welcoming and the food was outstanding.

Best restaurant in Troon by far so far! The service was wonderful, food was wonderful, fresh, and imaginative. No where else has come close so far.

Been here a few times but the first since has been redecorated. The Red Room is gorgeous- bright airy with lots of space. Love the pictures. Husband had the lamb which he loved. I had the chicken tempura which was excellent. BUT the best bit was the baked alaska. The real reason we come.

I recently stayed at the Piersland House Hotel for a short getaway and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break. The food was fantastic, the staff were exceptional, especially Margaret who efficiently organized breakfast and Jack who made every guest feel special. Thank you to everyone at Piersland House for ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

With no booking made for a mid week dinner slot, we were relieved to receive a warm welcome at the Red Bowl. The area has some fab places to eat out, with the Red Bowl being a cut above in terms of service, decor and food quality. It was no trouble to adjust the dishes to suit dietary requirements and the chicken dishes were cooked to perfection. I'd love to know where the veg is sourced from, as it actually tasted like it ought to a far cry from the supermarket stuff these days. View menu

I visited this venue along with family for my Grandad’s 80th birthday and could not fault it in any way, such high standards and quality. We were a party of 11 8 adults and 3 kids, and had our own private dining area which was really good. Food was excellent, I had the chicken with the brandy/peppercorn cream sauce which was cooked to perfection… just melted in your mouth. This was followed by a sticky toffee pudding which was delicious too. Service was great, and all staff were lovely and looked after us well. Look forward to returning in the future, thanks again.

The restaurant has a beautiful dining area and the staff, including the waiters, are friendly. The food was perfectly cooked and presented, although the pan-seared prawns did not come as advertised in the menu. Despite this, the rest of the food was great, with standout dishes like the haggis starter, goats cheese starter, cod, and lamb rump. The best part was the baked Alaska dessert. However, there were some issues with the service, as our order for still water was forgotten and our tea didn't arrive either. Overall, despite some mishaps, the food and atmosphere were good enough that we would consider returning.

Have drove passed this for years and was always drawn to it. Decided to book for anniversary dinner advised when booked it was a special anniversary. On entering approached reception spoke to lady who gave the impression she would rather be anywhere else but there . Went into dining room gave name to young man behind bar who didn’t show us to our table but stated pointing to table in corner that’s yours ! Behind a group of 10 men . Sorry but 1st impressions really count during our time little to no interaction with staff except for the girl who served our mains. Waited long periods to get menu when 1st arrived and for dessert.
