"I love the concept and the food that the place offers... but I swear I don't understand when I don't find flexibility in choosing combinations. I asked for a dish with carbohydrate and protein and was denied as it was not offered by the options on the menu. So I would have had to spend double to get a whole plate of protein and a whole plate of carbohydrates, but I wasn't that hungry!! In the end I had to choose the balanced one with vegetables even though I didn't want them. I also have a restaurant and I always give maximum availability and flexibility to each customer's requests... unfortunately I really don't understand when the same isn't done. Helpful and professional waitress with fluent English, dedicates time and passion to explaining dishes and ingredients. Every time I come to Verona it is now an obligatory stop for me: a must try not only for those who love vegetarian cuisine but also for those who want to experiment with new refined and tasty dishes. The tomato powder on the sea salad in less quantity would appreciate the taste of the fish as it ended... sweet to share the .crostatine cocoa and discreet but disproportionate coffee. Oh, good praline.. nice service but not appropriate..poco careful.. the addition of the cutlery that passes in front of the customer is not pleasant. Last flow... I used knife x handcuffs when it's actually just my husband. "The Evangelist The Evangelist welcomes us hungry, on an unlikely time, on a festive day and in less than two minutes we have our table. At the entrance we almost thought we had wrong entrance kitchen, exposed wines, Gianelli coffee machine there, almost as if I could use it I take away every doubt, the entrance was correct and for us was immediately synonymous with transparency. The young chef, but in his dishes the history and experience of those who have spent a life in the kitchen. The chief room could not be more friendly and kind person. That I never come again to say that in the North of Italy they do not know what hospitality is, because there is no more hospitable person of the Head Hall of the Restaurant the Evangelist. "Wow! What fantastic food! The best pasta we had during our stay in Verona! It's a shame we couldn't go back... We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 4 as soon as it opened at 7pm for 90mins, we were so lucky as they were turning people away so would highly recommend booking. Two of the dishes were without tomatoe sauce and they tasted amazing! Service was fantastic and we weren't rushed at all. I asked for a recommendation for a red wine to have with my pasta and it was always fantastic!
