I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant offers a vegan menu. The options were varied and of excellent quality.

Poor food and even poorer service. Dirty restaurant. Salad was just a pile of spinach. Gluten option was a disgrace! Wouldn't return or recommend.

I enjoyed a meal here as a special treat to myself. I didn't feel uncomfortable dining alone, the staff were prompt and polite. They honoured my free dough ball voucher using just a numeric code, not a QR code. I got plenty of tap water for the table. Thanks

The food is just ok. I wish the service would speed up a little more, I know that some people would not worry but with a young family it is hard to wait 20 minutes inbetween courses, or to have to ask to place your order. I never understand why wine has to be so expensive, £8.50 for a glass of mediocre red, that is really hard to justify.

My partner and I spent one night in Lewes and after enjoying some meals from local independent vendors, we decided to take advantage of a discount voucher and dine at Pizza Express. The staff were friendly and provided a vegan menu when requested. I tried the new vegan pea and mint arancini balls for a starter, which was delicious. For my main, I had the new vegan funghi pizza, which was incredibly flavorful and had a strong garlic taste. The pizza was fresh, with the "cheese" blending nicely like dairy cheese, and had a good amount of vegetable toppings. View menu
