"Pros and cons to this visit. First of all they were very catering when we changed the time and party size, was no issue doing this. We were seated quickly and served quickly by a very friendly lady. Starters took a while to come and you could tell there weren’t many people working in the kitchen. Both starters and mains were delicious and they were enjoyed by all. When it came to paying we had tesco vouchers (which I have used many a time before and had no issue). The lady tried to scan but it wasn’t working. She then had to write down the code and amount for each voucher (there were quite a few because of how tesco issue them out). The lady was very nice and wrote them all down. There were 2 I didn’t know the amount of as they were older but in date vouchers. She explained needed to know amount so I gave the two amounts but couldn’t confirm which was which( not thinking this would be a problem). The manager then came over and in an angry tone explained he couldn’t do it unless knows amount. You could tell he was stressed but I didn’t think the way he then spoke to customers was appropriate at all! The lady then sorted it all out. From an issue of their scanner not working it felt like we were the problem. Would not recommend going here if you have more than one voucher at all!"

Great Pizza, I have had many American Hot pizzas from Pizza Express for the last 40 years, this was a good one. Super friendly service from a lovely blond lady.

Nice pizzas if not slightly overpriced unless you use a discount code or voucher. My favourite pizza chain however my only complaint with this branch are the staff are so miserable. Perhaps training needs improvement?

Had dinner here after visiting the Light Trail at Hampton Court Palace. The service was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. We had a super-friendly waitress who was attentive and engaging and checked a number of times to make sure all was ok and that we were happy with everything. Wish I'd got her name as she's an asset to the restaurant and made our evening very enjoyable.

Visited New Years Day with a group of 19 enjoyed great pizzas with everyone's food served pretty much at the same time and all piping hot. We were sat upstairs and all food and drinks had to be brought up to us by our waitress a really friendly and polite young lady (disappointed I didn't think to ask her name) who worked really hard and kept us very well fed and watered. Very efficient, nothing was too much trouble and great location close to Hampton Court Palace and the river. View menu

I ordered 5 pizzas to pick up and was told they would be ready for me at 7:10 pm. When I arrived at the restaurant at 7:15 pm, it was clear that the staff were overwhelmed and had not even begun making my pizzas. 20 minutes later, I was given 2 pizzas that were not my order. After explaining the mistake, I finally received the correct pizzas at 7:40 pm. The pizzas were average, but the service was chaotic. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant when there are better options available in the area.

We celebrated my son's 17th birthday at Pizza Express Hampton Court with a group of friends and family. We selected this restaurant based on the top-notch service we have always received and our love for their freshly made pizzas. And once again, we were not let down. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff that added a lot of fun to our dining experience. When they brought out the birthday cake, the staff even gathered to sing for us. It truly was a perfect evening. Thank you so much for a memorable celebration!

Unless you are happy with the equivalent of a chimps tea party then avoid this restaurant. For the prices charged, over £15 for each pizza, I would expect quality surroundings and quality service. This place had neither. Drinks served in bottles and I had to ask twice for glasses and ice. Disappointing pizzas considering they cost over £15 each. You can get a far better pizza in Tesco’s for just £5 with better service. And to top it all, the waiter started clearing plates before we had finished. I will not be back here and probably not back to pizza express View menu

I must say, this was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. My family and I were taking a leisurely stroll along the river when we decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. The service was extremely poor, to the point where I'm not even sure if there was any service at all. When I asked for something, the staff never returned to let me know if they had it or not. I could go on and on about everything that went wrong, but I'll keep it short and sweet - this is the worst restaurant in Hampton Court and I highly recommend avoiding it at all costs. If you're hungry, just head to the Marks & Spencer petrol station, which is only 50 met...

Second time I’ve been there with my family in the last six months, second time they’ve totally screwed up the evening. Last time the gluten free pizza wasn’t gluten free and a family member was ill as a result. This time? Well, it wasn’t quite as bad, but still a less than great experience. Two pizzas were over cooked, one was the wrong order and one didn’t arrive at all. Out of five pizzas ordered, that’s just rubbish. Drinks orders had to be constantly chased, several of the staff members were barely intelligible not great when you have a partially deaf family member and overall it was not an evening to remember, at least not in any sort of positive way. The manager was polite and charming...

"Obon: a petit Japanese udon restaurant that supplies a sense of Japan that cannot be found anywhere else in the whole of the Uk. (5 stars) Location: Obon is located close to the heart of Kingston but the road it’s on is considerably quieter. You must make sure to have a basic knowledge of Kingston in order to find an area to park and to also make sure you leave yourself enough time, taking the unpredictability of the traffic into acount. Even on a week day there can be traffic jams which can put a halt to your plans and due to the small amount of customers Obon can take its important that you not only book but make sure that you arrive at the agreed booking time. With this being said the staff are all lovely so if you are running late, a quick call is all that is required to just give Obon a chance to understand your position. The food: The array of exquisitely prepared sashimi will be sure to create the sensation that you are in a top Japanese restaurant in japan and the flavour of the fish does not fail to match expectations, which will be very high after just one glance at your meal. The fish is delicately seasoned and practically melts on your tongue, this causes a lovely sensation and is genuinely the finest sushi I have tasted in the uk and even matches a lot of the top restaurants in japan. On top of just the traditional types of sushi, which to many is maki rolls Obon also offers many other delicious options such as soft shell crab and even Unagi don, which I must highly recommend due to it consistently being the highlight of my meal. For those of you that were interested in the quality of the basic Japanese dishes such as miso soup or edamame they do not fail to leave you in grand anticipation for what is to come for they are, simply speaking, incredibly good. The miso, in my opinion, is truly remarkable and creates a lasting feeling of warmth throughout your entire body, on top of that it is far superior to other miso’s that I have tasted in all other areas of the world. Overall the quality of the food is something you would expect from a world famous Michelin star restaurant and if you want Japanese food it’s the only place I can recommend. The Restaurant: The restaurant itself is small but authentic in nature and because it only has a enough tables to host around 20 people at the most, the service is exceptionally good and your food is always out quickly so you will not be left hungry for very long. The staff are kind and friendly. And it’s always an enjoyable experience being waves goodbye as you leave the restaurant. You’re also able to watch as they prepare the food, which for some could be entertaining. There are Japanese photos scattered around the room and this further creates an authentic feel. The atmosphere is not lively but it is a restaurant and not a bar so is an ideal location if you are wanting high quality food. With this being said it is still a great place to go with friends and I consistently am able to have a great time no matter the occasion. Price: Obviously, the price of the food is always an important topic to come to and despite the cost of the sushi being slightly higher than you may expect from a small restaurant in Kingston, I would have to say that for the quality of the food it is ultimately a bargain. For three people, you would be spending around £100 so it isn’t cheap but you can go for cheaper types of food such as udon, which is still amazing quality and won’t set you back as much money. Overall: Obon is still my favourite restaurant in the whole of the Uk and is perfect for a special occasion but it isn’t the sort of place you’d go for a casual night out. The food is beyond incredible and thus they can cater for both children and adults by meeting every bodies needs. For anybody that enjoys sushi, I would urge you to give it a go, you won’t regret it"
