"A treat for my sons birthday as we were at Meadowhall anyway, turned out to be a disappointment. As a family of four we expected to pay around £60 given that only the kids were having starters but when we saw what we were paying for I had no choice but to leave a poor review. The portions were so small, even my wife looked up at me as to say 'Is this it '. The starters for my two boys came out really quickly which we expected to be honest as out of approx. 50 tables only 3 (inc. ours) were spoken for. The mains however took ages and the staff that were in there just seemed to saunter around and all looked fed up. I will not be rushing back here anytime soon or any other Pizza Express as I 've no doubt they 're all instructed to give out the portion size we received. 1st stop from leaving here home to have my tea."

Nice dough balls and pizza. Not as crowded with gluten-free pizza as with regular. Also makes beautiful gluten-free Pesto Pasta

Visited here for lunch while Christmas shopping. Never fails to be good. The staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive and the food was great.

Met up with a friend for lunch the Sloppy Giuseppe was tasty, my friend had a Vegetarian. Service was also good, with a special shout out to Dan who went above and beyond with customer service. Many thanks, we'll be back!

From when we arrived , due to snow and cancellations throughout the day I asked can we leave a cake and the staff were so friendly and attentive . They kept cake for dessert , food was yummy and not slow and all staff did great and we all had a lovely evening for my sons 5th birthday tea . Would deffo come back again to this one thanks

Booked a table for 5 to celebrate Christmas and we were served by Caitlin who was absolutely brilliant. We had wonderful drinks, topclass pizzas and really great puddings. Many thanks to Caitlin for her excellent service and the chefs for their amazing cooking and thanks to PizzaExpress for a great meal. Cant wait for our next Pizzas at PizzaExpress. I went for the first time to Pizza Express today with my daughters and I have to say the young man on the reception desk was an absolute joy to meet. He was so kind and caring and basically brightened up our day. I went to thank him at the end for being so lovely. So I would like to say to his manager keep this young man always he is an asset to you and you need to realise this if you don’t already. His customer service skills are exceptional and you should be so proud of him. Can’t wait to go back just to see him again, the food was very good too.
