Pizza Express - Menu

I was not impressed with the quality of service and food when I placed a take away order. The Pizzaz was not as tasty as I expected compared to another franchise near me.

The food was great as always, but I was really impressed by the service- our waitress (Olivia) was really friendly and efficient, especially given that we were a bit group that was making decisions slowly.

Had a very good meal we all had pizzas one was gluten. The service was very good with helpful staff. The only criticism was that the plates the pizzas where on where cold and made the food go cold quickly. It would be a good...idea if they could warm the plates first. View menu

Three of us ate there last week while visiting friends in nearby Brixton. We ordered Vegan Mezze and two other pizzas which arrived quite quickly. The pizzas missed the spot as they were all slightly undercooked. We were too hungry to complain. Some PEs areconsistently...excellent but this one failed to make the grade sadly

We decided to get takeout from this restaurant and unfortunately, the waitress made a mistake with our order. Instead of the prawn pizza we ordered, we received meatballs and shrimp. It was a understandable error and the waitress handled it well despite the mix-up. However, we were disappointed that the manager didn't apologize or offer any sort of compensation. He even threw away the meatballs we could have taken instead of the incorrect order without giving us the option. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of customer service.

I don't usually dine at this restaurant, but I had a Christmas voucher so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the teig balls I ordered were terrible, but I should have known that as a ball of teig is not particularly appetizing. I ended up ordering a pizza, which was okay, but I thought the price of £16 was a bit expensive. The total bill for two of us came to £40, which I found pricey, especially since the place felt a bit dirty and grimy. I could have bought four supermarket pizzas for the same price and enjoyed them in a nicer environment. View menu

A few years ago, Pizza Express was considered a top choice. However, many other restaurants, not affiliated with big pizza chains, have since surpassed Pizza Express in terms of their base, toppings, and overall quality. Some Pizza Express locations are still holding on, especially those with unique character and good locations. However, this particular location seems to be stagnant and lacked the charm we were hoping for. It was almost empty on a mid-week night in January. The staff were decent, the pizza was average, and the prices were just slightly higher than what we felt was reasonable for the quality we received.

A late November cold Saturday lunchtime. Grandparents' treat for a 3 year and a 5 year old. Very busy. Seated at the rear right next to what was once an entrance with cold air coming in around an unsealed door. Brrrr. Restaurant extremely understaffed. Big...push to get us to place an early order and then basically ignored. Asked for water twice, which eventually arrived shortly before we left. Along with the children's meals we ordered a leggera pizza a charred ultra ultra thin base with a large hole cut out of the middle and covered with limp lettuce. The cook explained this is done to get it below 600 calories! Awful pizza. Waste of money. The children's food was good. However, their mum...

This review the 2 stars are for the waiting staff &chefs who did a great job unfortunately same can't be the said of the manager this guy makes basil fawlty look great basil would be proud. Came in on a wet Friday evening got seated...straight away a few minutes later (basil)the manager comes over takes my order then disappears. Few mins later one of the nice waiting staff who has been here for a long time asked why I was sitting at table for so long Without an order. So I explained I had ordered with this guy (basil)my nickname for him . She then goes to find him &he had obviously forgotten my order then she brought my glass of red over was just about to take a sip &suddenly (basil)reappear... View menu
