"very nice warm greeting from isus when we entered the rest. he brought us to a nice table. restaraunt was beautiful and clean, beautiful atmosphere. we were served by joana, very lazy and friendly. take our order and declare some of the ingredients. the food was immediately served, and directly from the, tasty, my man said it is the most beautiful pizza he ever had. since we asked joana, we have the app because we are both not very good with technology, she has applied the app for us. to have brilliant deals. Thank you, we'll be back soon."

A lovely location, quite big in a former cinema, we sat on the small terrace and enjoyed the experience, good food and friendly service.

the staff and eating were nice and the place looked nice, although the more pure probably a talk with, as out of the cups and cutlery were very dirty.

We ordered food for delivery. A pizza was missing and the items that were delivered were cold despite the 5 minute journey from the restaurant. Tried to call to no answer. Will not be ordering again.

Second time we have booked a very large table here in the past month to celebrate family birthdays. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Really attentive. We all had a brilliant time, covering all age ranges. Lovely food lovely night.

The service was exemplary, so much attention to detail, and at the end of the meal such a magnificent gesture to us as customers. I can't fault the staff and the food was superb. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.

eating was very nice as the staff, but the service is painfully slow. I do not know whether they are not just personal like many others in the industry. if they are looking for a cozy lunch in a pleasant environment, they go, but maybe they give it. a miss if not.

We came here for a family reunion and although there was a clear lack of staff in the kitchen, the front of house staff were absolutely lovely, attentive and we had a lovely time. Food was delicious, atmosphere was friendly and the staff deserve a...medal for dealing politely with customers complaining about how long they had to wait, as if they were at a drive-through. Highly recommend.

a family birthday was advised and was asked where we would like to sit. a series of tables were not clarified, which have no great impression. the ordered appetizers, the daughter mushroom was hardly warm and the cheese had not melted. I think it was in 10 seconds. my pizza was wrong, and he was not great. sprayed on the beats and there was a good 2 inches around the outside of the pizza, which was only teig. overpriced, stingy toppings and cold eating!

"Beautifull hotel, I guess one can call it trendy , but I just don 't understand how they can justify the price £130/night and that most of the time will go to £160 as they run out of entry level ones. So I guess the answer is there because people pay for it! But let 's just make some relevant comparisons Birmingham Grand literally in the heart of the city, brand new, 5* hotel, with all recently decorated rooms to the highest standard is £135 15 for breakfast. Needless to say rooms are air conditioned, fully equipped and genuinelly very posh. Hotel has lifts, has porters and the service is top notch. The Lion is barelly 4* just for trendiness alone, but the actual quality of furnishing is closer to 3*, has no lift and you will be lugging your bags up and down mutiple flights of stairs (and I mean multiple like 8 going up and down) trought narrow corridors to mediocre room (nothing wrong with it just mediocre) which isn 't even air conditioned. Sorry, I just don 't get it. That said restaurant is good fully fine dining if you are into it. Althought in my oppinion it doesn 't fit into the rest of the hotel. So it is ~3.5* hotel which is very youghtfull and trendy and then you get 5* fine dining with very tiny portions for the dinner (which is not criticism of restaurant, it is very good on it 's own). In conclussion I just don 't get what niche this hotel is filling, who stays there and why. The price for the rooms should be £75 95 tops. Shreesbury is not exactly prime tourists destination either (at least shouldn 't). But it seems it is working out for them, I just would not recommend it, I would not stay in it again and it is definatelly not worth the price. Neither in isolation, nor in comparison."
