The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was amazing fresh, tasty, great portions. The menu choice included gluten free and vegan which made me consider what I might have. A relaxing end to a lovely day.

We all love pizza and enjoy trying different kinds, and Pizza Express consistently delivers high-quality food every time I visit. I appreciate that they regularly update their menus, allowing me to switch things up and try new dishes.

Ate here last night and had initial misgivings as the restaurant badly needs a refit (which is why I knocked a star off). However, as you'd expect with Pizza Express, the food was fantastic as were the staff who were excellent and attentive.

The food is very good but not only that, the waiters are friendly and kind. Both the pasta and the pizzas are very delicious, and the salads are also very good. The place is clean and cosy and finally there is also a variety of desserts that are also very tasty. View menu

It's easy to criticize a restaurant that is part of a chain, but this one was surprisingly good. We were looking for a convenient dining option in the area that would cater to everyone's tastes, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Despite the impact of COVID-19 on dining out, the pizzas were exceptional. We've tried pizza places in the UK and abroad, and our children are quite picky, but we were all impressed. The chicken and sweet pepper pizza was excellent - the peppers were truly sweet. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. We left very satisfied with our experience.

We were thinking of visiting a pub for a meal but was such bind trying to find a place with a reasonable review, a menu that worked for everyone and would offer inside/outside (as the weather forecast was not brilliant). In the end all become too complicated and so we decided to go back to Pizza Express. Easy booking and a menu that would suit all. In the end, the promised rain had not materialised and we sat outside. Was very pleasant watching the world go by. We were not incredibly hungry so gave the starters a miss. A Pizza Express should be a comfortable environment for families. Unfortunately, our recent experience was far from pleasant. We have a 19-month-old toddler who is a messy eater, and while we do our best to minimize the mess, it can be difficult with a young child. During our meal, our toddler threw some food on the floor, and while we intended to clean it up at the end, a waitress approached us angrily and scolded us for not immediately picking up after our child. She went as far as to say, "We are not your cleaners." The manager, whom we spoke to about the incident, was unapologetic and non-committal.
