Pizza from The Gowlett Arms

Lovely chilled out place to enjoy a pint! Delicious pizza and friendly staff.

Lovely pub but DJ playing means it's close to impossible to converse in a group.

Came last night and enjoyed it; had an American hot pizza and drinks with friends. Pub was vibey and played really good funky music.

Excellent pizza, super thin crispy base with lace Tastic toppings. Great choice of alcohol also and staff dead!! Thanks for an evening

Nice boozer, with a pool table. Not sure why they have to do a 3 part pour for Guinness though. I don't think the Guinness brew master in Dublin would approve. View menu

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The drinks were amazing and the food, once it finally arrived, was fantastic. However, waiting over an hour for a pizza in a half-full pub is unacceptable. And if you dare to point out that your order was incorrect, the (presumed) manager will come out and condescend to you. Calling someone "Mozzarella Girl" for requesting extra Mozzarella is just immature.

Throughout the years, the Gowlett has been known for its excellent pizzas that have attracted a large number of customers. Despite not having visited in about 7 years, I was pleased to discover that they still offer pizzas on their menu. I decided to try the American hot pizza, but I found that it wasn't as delicious as I remembered and the portion sizes had gotten smaller. In addition to pizzas, they also offer a selection of draft beer, cask ale, and wine. The restaurant is kid-friendly and provides board games for entertainment.

This restaurant is the worst in the area. I came with my sick child and ordered a pizza just before 6pm. They claimed it had only been half an hour, but we actually waited 45 minutes with my child getting sicker. They also bypassed us to serve other customers. When I asked why, a random girl lectured me. The service was terrible, the staff were rude, and the place smelled like smoke and moldy carpet. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I am shaking with anger after being scolded while waiting to feed my sick child. Absolutely unacceptable!!!! View menu
