"A group of 12 of us reserved a table to watch the football, and we had a fantastic afternoon enjoying both the sports and our lunch and drinks. The service was outstanding throughout, both during the game and while dining. The table reservation process was quick and efficient, and any requests we had were addressed promptly and effectively. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and the excellent service provided by the staff and management. I highly recommend visiting this well-managed establishment."

"I had the most disappointing Indian meal in years at this restaurant. The samosa was tiny and lacked meat, priced at £3.95 for just two pieces. The onion bhajis were also £3.95 for a portion of two, and the bhindi portion was only a few spoonfuls for £3.75. The prawn on puri was not much better, with small shrimp on slightly larger prawn crackers. The tandoori mixed grill was a letdown at £12.95, with dry slices of lamb and chicken, a small seekh kebab, and a piece of chicken that looked old. The food was cold and dry, and most of it ended up in the bin. I would never return here after spending over £45 on such a lackluster meal. It's clear that the restaurant lacks quality and care in their dishes. I would not recommend dining here."

"I booked this restaurant for my parents' anniversary party and it could not have been better. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everyone enjoyed the hot buffet food. The pub is charming and despite being in the countryside, it is easily accessible from the A303. Thank you for all the effort you put into making it a special day for them. "During our weekend break in November 2023, we encountered some minor issues upon checking in to our first room at the restaurant. Despite a filthy shower screen and a broken window that wouldn't shut, the staff promptly addressed these issues and we were moved to a new room. We also had to request a mattress protector for the new room. The cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved. However, we found the bar to be nice, the food to be very good, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the roast dinner on Sunday, which was delicious and generous in portion size. The breakfast selection was good as well. Overall, we had a pleasant stay despite these minor inconveniences."
"They have a vegan menu so I thought I can have a good vegan meal here. Oh boy I was wrong. I had mushroom soup which was nice with 2 slices of bread.. The soup came with butter. I dared to ask if it vegan as well. The girl who served us went to the kitchen to ask and I overhead the loud conversation when a guy told oh just tell her it 's vegan . I 'm lactose intolerant.... The falafel burger was very undercooked and mushy. The meal was suppose to come with tzatziki but as its not vegan instead of giving you something else, they just give the very small bowl of chip as standered. My husband had a burger. It was a tiny portion also his burger was burned so badly be didn 't finish it even though he was very hungry. The onion rings were okay. We had a drink each and paid £61. Not worth the money. The waiters were fine."
